Im also 20 now and got married at the age of 18! I was so so excited and alhamdulillah I‘m still so happy about my decision, we even love each other more and more with every day. I didn’t even knew him before, never seen him before or even didn’t knew his name until we got that meet up with my older brother (cause I lost my dad years ago) and he introduced us to eachother 🙈 never ever regretted my own decision to marry him 🌹 may Allah bless your marriage love!

Sisi Lenova it was arranged by my parents. Once they checked and were happy with him and his family and background, then he came to meet me in a family environment. We spoke with an adult present. The process took a few months but the next time I met him was when we had our nikah. We didn’t officially live together for another couple of months but he car to visit and we spoke on the phone. Alhamdulillah, we have been blessed to be together now for 22 years. We still go out to dinner and have been away on holidays whilst our family took care of our children, as well as family holidays. As Maryam said, after marriage the romance and love are secure and more pure, Alhamdulillah.

The process took 5 months and everything he’d said was checked out by various members of my family. Above all was my faith and trust in Allah. Don’t get me wrong, it hasn’t always been plain sailing, we’ve had our fair share of ups and downs. I don’t think it’s more or less than any other relationship, regardless of how people met. Alhamdulillah Allah has always blessed us both with understanding and forgiveness.

I'm really glad that a british muslim is sharing the halal way of going about marriage. It shows everyone that you don't have to be in a relationship before getting married. As muslims we should really hold on to our values!! I mean just compare for yourself: by doing it the halal way the girl is treated like a princess, as someone who can't be approached by just anyone. Honestly you got me emotional. Before this video i watched the "change of heart video" and it really touched me. Just how you're thinking about your Aakirah and the responsibility you have over your actions and how you influence your viewers. I can't remeber the exact words so forgive me for paraphrasing but you said something along the lines of " Imagine Allah guides you and you go back to your old ways and he guides you again and you turn again but Allah doesn't guide you again" sorry i wrote that not exactly how you said it but it really touched me. Ive been struggling with giving up music for awhile and for the most parts im good but after a while i start listening to music and then Allah helps me give it up and I'm just on this roller coaster so that line really touched me. I'm really glad that a british muslim is sharing the halal way of going about marriage. It shows everyone that you don't have to be in a relationship before getting married. As muslims we should really hold on to our values!! I mean just compare for yourself: by doing it the halal way the girl is treated like a princess, as someone who can't be approached by just anyone. And in a relationship you might get lead on and what not

My husband and I got married in a very similar way....I took everything straight to my parents and we knew we wanted to get married after meeting about 3 times. Alhamdulillah our nikkah/walima process went so smoothly, (literally we got married 3 months after first meeting) and it was 100% through the blessing of Allah and our family's du'as.
Intention is everything sis, and just like it was for you.....as soon as we did our nikkah it was honestly bliss. Alhamdulillah I'll never forget how it felt.

Honestly you got me emotional. Before this video i watched the "change of heart video" and it really touched me. Just how you're thinking about your Aakirah and the responsibility you have over your actions and how you influence your viewers. I can't remeber the exact words so forgive me for paraphrasing but you said something along the lines of " Imagine Allah guides you and you go back to your old ways and he guides you again and you turn again but Allah doesn't guide you again" sorry i wrote that not exactly how you said it but it really touched me. Ive been struggling with giving up music for awhile and for the most parts im good but after a while i start listening to music and then Allah helps me give it up and I'm just on this roller coaster so that line really touched me. I never really watched you in the past but i have a feeling i will watch your video from now on. By the way I'm turning 28 in August so not just little girls watching you. Respect women enough to do things the right way! All the best life coaches and motivational speakers will tell you that for success in life you need to be purposeful. Islam is just like that. Our purpose is clear. There is no point to having multiple relationships if you know you want to be committed to one. Allah knows us best. And he gave us the Deen and Sunnah because it suits us perfectly. I pray we can all hold on strong to it. It is getting harder and harder , but we have to get stronger!
