To me, the most visible change from Sinner is his willingness to hit backhand down the line. He always had this shot, but he used to hit 99% of his backhand cross court. Hitting down the line either is an outright winner, or makes the next shot a winner. I am glad that Sinner now hits this shot way more often. ❤❤
Yeah - good point. That shot requires so much discipline, clearing the high part of the net while delivering flatish lazer winner...
That’s a good point. Theres a lot of changes to Sinner’s game right now though. The serve has gotten so much better than before which I think is the most important one.
Not always.. If you paid attention, Sinner stopped doing that from the second half of the 2nd set and he started again in the fifth. That's because he was pressured all the time, and in this case the change down the line is weak and opens up for the cross court forehand. I don't know how many winners meddy made cross court fh, or how many rallies he switched on his favor due to a weak change down the line. Sinner won the 3rd and 4th by playing every point, keeping and winning most of the exchanges on the backhand cross court side, trying to hit as deep as possible. He knew meddy would run out of energies. 5th set he had more legs and confidence, so he could do his game fully. Medvedev was done by then.
@@francescopagnini4583right on point. This also unveils how strong and tactically determined our Champion has become. He was famous for not having a B plan. Now he shows plan B, plan C and a good serve too.
Biggest improvement is his serve..... his serve won him the Australian open
more like a collection of 10 random points but still nice to see
I came here to make the exact same comment about those shots being as random as a lottery draw!
Awesome shots; Sinner is an amazing player, a great humble man.
Jannik has been playng amazingly and it is so enjoyable to watch his matches. He deserves to become the new n.1
"Maybe not something that's gonna change the game but"
He had no clue😂😂😂
(Sinner broke Djokovic serve after he hit that shot)
I literally said the same thing when I was watching the match highlights a few days back 😂 crazy how poorly that aged. Reminds me of when Nadal hit a drop shot while down 2 sets 2-3 0-40 against Medvedev at AO2022, and the commentator basically said how the match was over and how the drop shot was the only play that worked for Nadal lol. Commentator curse
nice quote, but he said MAYBE, not FOR SURE. so he was not wrong anyway
The top 3 shots are well-ranked. No.3 was a crucial point in retrospect since he broke Djokovic's service game from 0-40 down...
Great Jannik! You merit to become the number one! ❤
Sensational play. I believe I am finding a player to cheer for 🥰
Sinner taking out Djokovic is a win within itself. Good job❤❤❤
Tennis of the man is polite, offensive and strategic.
Still celebrating here in Scotland!!!🍺🍺🍺
Awesome Jannik Sinner. You're the best.
Such an incredible tournament by Sinner!
A new era has started....Sinner and Alcaraz will start to dominate tennis in the next 2 years. You will have Mevdeved, Rublev, Rune hanging in there in the top 10 and watch out for Shelton, he has a ton of potential. Maybe a new player like Fils could also get in there, but looks like Alcaraz and Sinner will dominate for the next decade overall.
FENOMENALE !
the high speed of the baseline exchanges is impressive 🎾🎾
Furthermore, Sinner is in excellent physical shape
well done carrot 🥕 we love you
camera angle on that counter-drop-shot v. Nole was just dreamy.
immenso Jannik💙🇮🇹
the best.. grazieeeeeeeeee Sinner!!
Watching his groundstrokes gives you good vibes😅😊
the best thing he has, is the clean soul. Other players with talent are aggressive in and out of the sport, and with the money thei lost themself.
Zuper Jannik!
Nice, thanks! 1 may be the best rally, but 2 is easily the most skill full shot!
Muhteşem, muhteşem, muhteşem Sinner 👏👏👏👏👏👏
coming years Bjokovic is going to see very tough matches against this skinny powerful Lad.He covers the court like no other in open era...
Éblouissant...
Les jambes d'une panthère 🐆.
How is match point to win his first Grand Slam title with a lasered down the line forehand not #1 on this list?
Sinner is able to land stronger and more aggressive shots from off the court. 😮😊
Great top 10 points.
Opening up with a zoom in on the Italian backside? Immaculate
For those who have patiently waited for his arrival, they are being richly rewarded.
"Maybe not something that's gonna change the game, but..." yeah, but made him win the whole thing. It's these moments.
Mostruoso Sinner
Grande Sinner!!
Last one felt a lot like Federer and Nadal epic rally in 2017.
Fabulous!!!❤😊
He had a tough draw and still won! 🥕 🧡
Consistently beat Nole....new goat
The new king of Tennis is here !
many of these points aren't nearly near his top 10 in this tournament. he had some way cooler ones
Go jannik sinner
If you beat the greatest of all time, what should people call you? Sinner #1!!
Questo es un fenomeno
Great tennis, great shots.... and that shot of Sinner's butt in the first 10 seconds lmao
i am apologetic to point this out but I've never seen Rod Laver's face like that before, even after such a crazy rally he was not smiling but whenever he came to a big three's final he always looked like he was having a ball.🥲
He has that Tomas Berdych effortless power
1. At 5:29 so nice to see Rocket Rod Laver in the stands! You have wonder what he thinks of tennis' development and changes over the years.
2. Sinner is inaccurately named. He's more like a Saint on the court!
3. I watched an interview in Italian with him. It's almost like it's his native language!
4. He really needs better looking tennis togs--something with a little more color, maybe.
c'mon, Australian Open channel
surely you can make a better list of top points than this?
You should put the title point as number 1
His serves are so high
This was fantastic, and with crybaby Kirgyos as a spectator. Both great achievement for tennis
So I take it Sinner uses a pro stock version of the Speed MP?
3:03 how in the world that point is considered #5 ?
🧡
Championship point forehand winner is just apropos
he may be been an even better skier early in life
Sinner was Top Junior Skier Champion in Italy when a kid ,Tennis he started playing at age of 14 yrs ,they are so many post on social media
Nothing remarkable about this list except for last 3.
@@LyricsProishI don’t know that Jeff would be able to hit better shots, but I’m fairly sure he’d be able to choose better points for this list. The selection seems pretty damn random to me too, feel like Sinner’s won better points than most of those in pretty much every match and especially in the later rounds.
No disrespect intended, but this has to be the blandest top 10 from a grand slam winner in a long time
That’s because it’s not even close to being his top 10 points. Idk who tf made the list but I doubt they watched the tournament LOL
the last point is no sense. grazie jannik
Commentator boohooing sliding on a hard court is hilarious. Djokovic been doing it for 15 years with no issue.
This top could be done much better. I'm missing a few points.
There's some normal points 🤔 he's had done better in this tournament.
The Predestined! 🎾🎾🎾
i would love to see the complete watch but i guess you have to pay for it to see any thing any more.
Bit of lazy editing here, some of these points were not even close to remarkable. But that's probably because of spreading them out, and not just the djokovic and medvedev games.
💪🇮🇹💙
LOL apart from the top 3, the editor had no idea what to put so he watched the first five minutes of each game Sinner played and picked random points of the first 3 games
some of the points on this list don't make sense... like that simple point against rublev which is just basically cleaning up a good first serve. sinner had sooo many amazing points that were superior to that. but i guess they just wanted to get a video out.
Inchinatevi al RE 🤴
4:23 this is going to haunt djoker for some time.
Not the cross court forehand vs Rublev huh? 🤔
how in the hell do you choose those for top 10...clueless
The Terminator!
Scorching forehand winner against rublev in 2nd set tiebreak??
S T R A O R D I N A R I O
Mad that de jong left Farcalona to play tennis
He looks promising
4:45 Well, turns out it did 😂
The gender pay gap is real!
The women played 76 minutes. Men 224.
Women were payed the same. They earned 3 times the men based on minutes played! What a disgrace!
Come on 😮
He made much in better points than these .
😮
Almost every shots ‘ 😂
Except the top 3 the ranking is horrible
Total Nonsens
He made surely some better points
Nothing spectacular here really. Just some additional evidence of how good sinner is
Italy.
Te la potresti menare come dio solo fa in terra... invece NO, testa bassa e lavorare, tanta stima tanta stima!
Whoever made this list was drunk
These points are pretty weak.
@@Glucositythese points are weak considering the title says top 10 points. He played loads of way better points than these
@@rudhiaks2136 i didn’t watch the full AO24 but they were all good, none of them were weak. instead of “weak” it should’ve been “not the best / not as good”, they weren’t weak
Umm what you mean by weak, his consistent power might not be fancy but it's not weak
the power he's able to generate from a slow ball is insane
He copying Djokovic
@@DanStoj-of2hz
you do realize he consistently hits harder than Djokovic?
@@DanStoj-of2hz😂😂he hits way harder than Djoko.
