I have never hated a youtube ad more than the ads with Bobby Brown from Jones Road. I am subjected to them every time I go to youtube, at any time of day and I can’t wait to press “skip”. I have tried allowing it to play hoping it would not repeat as often, it made no difference. I may be who they market to, but I do not want to wear balm style shiny highlighter or goopy like foundation products.
I completely agree. And also, it’s so annoying to me that she starts by saying if you are over 50 don’t use traditional makeup, I’m like lady, that’s what you sold to women over 50 for decades, what are you talking about? Every time her ad comes on I wish I could comment but obviously I can’t. So here I am using this opportunity to rant.
Me too. TH-cam asked me at the end of her ad…. If I found the ad annoying. YES! I was hopeful I wouldn’t see it again. Nope still plays multiple time when I’m on TH-cam 🙁

I'd love a video on powders for mature skin. I have dry skin and live in a desert, and turned 50. My skin care, foundation, and makeup in general has changed in the past 5 years. My skin looks better after I found you, but I'm still fine tuning my makeup game.
I like the Alpha Lotion, but I love the Gold Bond retinol body cream. I noticed a big difference in my ‘elephant’ knees in just 2 weeks! But it is hard to find.
OMG, I got a pair of Sorel sandals last year! The style is different than yours, but I love how funky and comfortable they are. In fact, I loved them so much I got the same sandal in (2) more colors. They’re awesome!!
Australian Gold Face Sunscreen is my favorite! The Fair-Light is a perfect shade for me, so no worry about a white cast. I love the way this sets down, so no greasy feel or shiny look. I have oily skin, so I have always hating wearing sunscreen, but this is perfect. I will love wearing sunscreen now!!! ❤

Please don't mix anything into your sunscreen. Not only will it affect the SPF protection but it will also affect the most important part of sunscreen technology which is its film forming abilities over your skin. This is a common mistake.
If you have chronic plantar fasciitis. Try stretching your soleus muscle. It’s the muscle under the gastrocnemius. Usually that’s the one that’s tight. And if you lengthen that, things calm down. ( PT, 30+ years in orthopedics)
"Forgets blush" translated into WOW that blush is so easy to use and looks amazing! Might have been an opps, but I say I was a great demonstration of the blush. Brava.
I absolutely adore Jones Road WTF foundation. They clearly state it is better for dry skin. I can't live without my Miracle Balm in Bronze!!! Bronze gives me a beautiful healthy glow.

I wish that ALL your brushes came in the travel size. When I put makeup on I have to get close to the mirror to see, and the longer brushes get in my way😳😄
Omg! My eyes have been getting worse and I have the same issue! I finally bought one of those mirrors x10 so you really see everything up close, but not so much that you can’t see your whole face at once.😂
Thank you for telling us about Haruharu Wonder sunscreen! I love it because it does not irritate my eyes, it is colorless, it comes off easily in a single wash, it is not greasy or too drying, and the pump is so helpful too! The Australian Gold was too orange (the lightest) and too drying. I have skin similar to Angie.

I totally agree with you about your hair! If my hair doesn’t look good; I don’t look good! And my hair is a challenge for sure. Just wondered if this brush gets extremely hot. I have the Revlon -can’t use it at all because it’s way too hot.
I know they are marketing that sweater as “crochet” but that is knit. It may look like crochet at first glance because it’s an open knit, but there is no crochet involved there. As a knitter it just drives me crazy! 😂
I tried the Covergirl Simply Ageless Skin Perfector Essence. I did not like it. The first time I wore it, I had a gel moisturizer underneath. My t-zone got extremely oily. I had set it with setting powder., too. My t-zone does get oily by the end of the day, but not like this. I tried it a second time without the moisturizer. The same thing happened. I took it back to the store. I think if you have extremely dry skin this may work for you. My favorite foundation is L’Oreal True Match Hyaluronic Tinted Serum.
Lovely Angie! I have been following you for 5-7 years and got so many great advices, thank you! You don`t have any wrinkles. The hardest thing is to try sleep on your back, I think it would be most effective one.
Favourite moment is your alpha pump reveal 😆. I’ve been keeping the pump from my Aveeno calm and restore oat cleanser (which by the way is a great gentle non drying cleanser)

Hi Angie. I’ve been watching you for years. Can you go over your hair routines - do you ever use extensions what are you using to avoid hair thinning? Also have you used Botox or filler- sculptra? Thank you
She uses a Hair Max device iirc (red light therapy) No extensions but she’s on HRT, yes to Botox and only a tiny bit of lip filler, no Sculptra. Lol hope that helps, Angie may not see this to answer you. ✌🏼

You're like that lifelong neighbor friend just doing your own thing & turns out we're interested in the same stuff!! 😊 I don't know if you tried it last year but I LOVE the Jones Road, Dusty Rose bronzer!! As a light to light-medium COOL-TONE it's the ONE that looks natural. I still tap left over blush on high points (forehead, bridge of contoured nose & chin) but that bronzer mimicks getting real sun. Of course I try everything else under the sun 🌞 but always go back to dusty rose. Thanks for sharing 🤍 Ps... I can totally see the difference in your hair!! It's SO smooth & curls are gorgeous!! Angie I got a full size Saint Jane luxury mineral sunscreen. Have you tried it? I am loving it! No white cast. Not greasy, not too drying, good under make up👍it’s a bit pricey but not that much more than other high ends.
I’m so excited about the pump because I have emailed them so many times about that dang bottle. I have transferred the product to a pump bottle every single bottle I have bought. The bottle is so thick my very able husband could barely squeeze it all out for me and even had a hard time cutting the bottle open to get all the lotion out of the bottom, which is about 2 weeks worth of lotion that won’t squeeze out at all. The lotion is great, but that bottle is way too thick!!
I’m curious about reapplying over makeup and I would love a video on that. I have found a couple of sprays that I like but curious to know how others are addressing that need. I’m a market gardener and I spend a LOT of time outside. I do wear sun hats as well.

I got my Alpha Hydrox lotion Wednesday when I came home from work and I think I did some sort of 80s dance moves when I pulled out the pump. I was getting to the point where I wasn't sure I was going to order this anymore because it physically hurts my right hand to try to squeeze out the lotion. I've been using this lotion since 2020 when I first followed you and you recommended it. It is the best lotion for my skin so I was super sad in thinking I wouldn't be able to keep using it. I pulled it out of the plastic wrap, did my 80s dance and yelled "finally!!". So happy I can keep using this lotion.
I’m going to need a tutorial on how to use that iron brush! lol I was looking for an iron to give me a softer wave that would straighten out the fly aways… this has potential but for the life of me I don’t know how you get it through your hair without getting it caught in the brush. My hair is probably about 2-3 inches longer than yours. Tutorial please!!!!!
Yay about Alpha! I think when you first mentioned this, years ago, I asked you how you got it out of the bottle it was so thick, it is not a friend to arthritic hands! Such a simple solution, 🙄I’ll have to try it again.
I keep the bottle upside down and it plops out much better. I tried to insert my own used pump and it was too thick to work well, which may be part of its moisturizing awesomeness. Hope their pump works well:).

Great product, but it is not being offered with a pump on Amazon and according to "questions to mfg" section, this lotion is not currently being packaged with a pump. It appears to be something the company included w/your order as a convenience to you as a content creator, to which I say they should. Fellow plantar fasciitis sufferer here! I wear oofos around the house as my “house slippers” and if I’m not trying to be cute, maybe more casual or sporty, I have a pair of the oofos flip flop style sandals I wear out and about. Not cute…but SO comfy, like walking on clouds and keeps the PF at bay.
After your sunscreen video I did try the Australian Gold in the lightest tint. I loved it! The colour was perfect for me, I loved how matte it was, it lasted all day. But it was like GLUE when I tried to remove it. It took three different cleansers to finally get it all off. Weird.

I like the Alpha Lotion, but I love the Gold Bond retinol body cream. I noticed a big difference in my ‘elephant’ knees in just 2 weeks! But it is hard to find.

OMG, I got a pair of Sorel sandals last year! The style is different than yours, but I love how funky and comfortable they are. In fact, I loved them so much I got the same sandal in (2) more colors. They’re awesome!!
Australian Gold Face Sunscreen is my favorite! The Fair-Light is a perfect shade for me, so no worry about a white cast. I love the way this sets down, so no greasy feel or shiny look. I have oily skin, so I have always hating wearing sunscreen, but this is perfect. I will love wearing sunscreen now!!! ❤

Please don't mix anything into your sunscreen. Not only will it affect the SPF protection but it will also affect the most important part of sunscreen technology which is its film forming abilities over your skin.
This is a common mistake.
If you have chronic plantar fasciitis. Try stretching your soleus muscle. It’s the muscle under the gastrocnemius. Usually that’s the one that’s tight. And if you lengthen that, things calm down. ( PT, 30+ years in orthopedics)

I absolutely adore Jones Road WTF foundation. They clearly state it is better for dry skin. I can't live without my Miracle Balm in Bronze!!! Bronze gives me a beautiful healthy glow.

Omg! My eyes have been getting worse and I have the same issue! I finally bought one of those mirrors x10 so you really see everything up close, but not so much that you can’t see your whole face at once.😂

I love it because it does not irritate my eyes, it is colorless, it comes off easily in a single wash, it is not greasy or too drying, and the pump is so helpful too! The Australian Gold was too orange (the lightest) and too drying. I have skin similar to Angie.

I totally agree with you about your hair! If my hair doesn’t look good; I don’t look good! And my hair is a challenge for sure. Just wondered if this brush gets extremely hot. I have the Revlon -can’t use it at all because it’s way too hot.
I know they are marketing that sweater as “crochet” but that is knit. It may look like crochet at first glance because it’s an open knit, but there is no crochet involved there. As a knitter it just drives me crazy! 😂

I tried the Covergirl Simply Ageless Skin Perfector Essence. I did not like it. The first time I wore it, I had a gel moisturizer underneath. My t-zone got extremely oily. I had set it with setting powder., too. My t-zone does get oily by the end of the day, but not like this. I tried it a second time without the moisturizer. The same thing happened. I took it back to the store. I think if you have extremely dry skin this may work for you. My favorite foundation is L’Oreal True Match Hyaluronic Tinted Serum.
Maybe you could do a battle of the 'winning' sunscreens to see which one comes out on top!

Hi Angie. I’ve been watching you for years. Can you go over your hair routines - do you ever use extensions what are you using to avoid hair thinning? Also have you used Botox or filler- sculptra? Thank you
She uses a Hair Max device iirc (red light therapy) No extensions but she’s on HRT, yes to Botox and only a tiny bit of lip filler, no Sculptra. Lol hope that helps, Angie may not see this to answer you. ✌🏼

You're like that lifelong neighbor friend just doing your own thing & turns out we're interested in the same stuff!! 😊 I don't know if you tried it last year but I LOVE the Jones Road, Dusty Rose bronzer!! As a light to light-medium COOL-TONE it's the ONE that looks natural. I still tap left over blush on high points (forehead, bridge of contoured nose & chin) but that bronzer mimicks getting real sun. Of course I try everything else under the sun 🌞 but always go back to dusty rose.

Angie I got a full size Saint Jane luxury mineral sunscreen. Have you tried it? I am loving it! No white cast. Not greasy, not too drying, good under make up👍it’s a bit pricey but not that much more than other high ends.

I’m so excited about the pump because I have emailed them so many times about that dang bottle. I have transferred the product to a pump bottle every single bottle I have bought. The bottle is so thick my very able husband could barely squeeze it all out for me and even had a hard time cutting the bottle open to get all the lotion out of the bottom, which is about 2 weeks worth of lotion that won’t squeeze out at all. The lotion is great, but that bottle is way too thick!!
Why not just reuse a pump from another bottle….if you have one that fits of course? I do that with my conditioner.
I’m curious about reapplying over makeup and I would love a video on that. I have found a couple of sprays that I like but curious to know how others are addressing that need. I’m a market gardener and I spend a LOT of time outside. I do wear sun hats as well.

I got my Alpha Hydrox lotion Wednesday when I came home from work and I think I did some sort of 80s dance moves when I pulled out the pump. I was getting to the point where I wasn't sure I was going to order this anymore because it physically hurts my right hand to try to squeeze out the lotion. I've been using this lotion since 2020 when I first followed you and you recommended it. It is the best lotion for my skin so I was super sad in thinking I wouldn't be able to keep using it. I pulled it out of the plastic wrap, did my 80s dance and yelled "finally!!". So happy I can keep using this lotion.
I’m going to need a tutorial on how to use that iron brush! lol I was looking for an iron to give me a softer wave that would straighten out the fly aways… this has potential but for the life of me I don’t know how you get it through your hair without getting it caught in the brush. My hair is probably about 2-3 inches longer than yours. Tutorial please!!!!!

I think when you first mentioned this, years ago, I asked you how you got it out of the bottle it was so thick, it is not a friend to arthritic hands! Such a simple solution, 🙄I’ll have to try it again.
I keep the bottle upside down and it plops out much better. I tried to insert my own used pump and it was too thick to work well, which may be part of its moisturizing awesomeness. Hope their pump works well:).

Great product, but it is not being offered with a pump on Amazon and according to "questions to mfg" section, this lotion is not currently being packaged with a pump. It appears to be something the company included w/your order as a convenience to you as a content creator, to which I say they should. You are doing the work to bring great info to us, why not make things a bit more convenient for you. Thanks again for all you do.

Fellow plantar fasciitis sufferer here! I wear oofos around the house as my “house slippers” and if I’m not trying to be cute, maybe more casual or sporty, I have a pair of the oofos flip flop style sandals I wear out and about. Not cute…but SO comfy, like walking on clouds and keeps the PF at bay.

After your sunscreen video I did try the Australian Gold in the lightest tint. I loved it! The colour was perfect for me, I loved how matte it was, it lasted all day. But it was like GLUE when I tried to remove it. It took three different cleansers to finally get it all off. Weird.
