@@JessicaGrimley96 no they're just always like that lol. I think that's just their personalities, the Contes are a bit extroverted and you can see that in Gabe. The Bauers are more sensitive and introverted and you can see that in Jess. They're all so precious ❤️

God, since seeing Jess singing covers when they were still in a long distance relationship to listening to them singing in the birth of her daughter makes me believe in love. I’m assuming it was Jess’ sister who came in around 4:35, but I just really appreciated how she hugged both Jess and Makaiah, rather than just going straight to the baby. I wonder if that was just really comforting to Jess who had literally just given birth?! It’s so nice that she showed support and love for the both of them rather than just the baby.
When I had my baby, it was so disheartening when people would come over and just go straight for my baby and not even acknowledge me or my partner. So when someone would even say hi to me first and ask how I was, it was honestly the best feeling, because it made me feel like I wasn’t just a human incubator instead of the insanely exhausted and fragile mother. He’s 5 months old now and it still happens and it still affects me just as much.
i love her name sm 😭 "makaiah" sounds like "makaya," a bisaya word (one of the languages in the Philippines) and it roughly means "you can." we use it to encourage someone AND ITS SO PRECIOUS HOW IT SOUNDS LIKE IT.
