Falsa Sharbat

I bring to you a summer drink of delicious fruit Falsa ka sharbat which is super juicy and fruity sour in taste. It is very healthy and cooling for the body.

Serves
2-3
Preparation Time 15 mins
Ingredients
• 1 cup Falsa
• ½ cup sugar
• 2 tsp black salt
• 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
• 8-10 ice cube
• 1.5 ltr Water
• 7-8 Mint leaves
Method
1.in a bowl add Falsa, sugar, and black salt, roasted cumin powder smash all the ingredients well
2. Then using a strainer strain the juice using water
3.in a serving glass put an ice cube and pour falsa juice
4. Garnish with mint leaves and serve chilled falsa ka sharbat

Lovely recipe. Back in 70s, my Mom used to mash it with the help of a madhani after adding sugar n kala namak. We as kids relished it.

In every seson i used to make faalsa sharbat i irstly soak faalsa in water ,tgen squeeze thoroughly, n then add sugar n water
Now i will follow this recepie to see the difference
Its really a fantastic n refreshing drink
N its true that it comes fir a very short period
So many ppl even doesn't know what faalsa is 😅

Great, but need you tell us more about the falsa, like where it grows - in which region etc.
Falsa grows extensively in arid terrestrial hot weather,
I was informed that it is grown in Maharashtra as well, but never saw it in mumbai Market.
