    This video is the most useful Russian video for me working in a market. Every other Russian market video is for people only trying to find groceries or being some kind of customer. This gives me actual interactive skills to help, instead of trying to somehow get them to lead the conversation or having awkward broken ways of trying to figure out how to do my job and offer them service.

    Какой красивый голос. Чувствуется, как будто её голос гладил мои уши.
    Было бы здорово, если бы было видео о глаголах «оплачивать», «платить», «заплатить» и т. д.

    Great job. Saw a number of your videos. Noticed a number of words used in this video are loan words from other languages. Like:
    magazin - French
    supermarket - English
    fructe - Latin
    ketchup - Chinese
    caissier - French
    carta - Latin
    bonus - Latin

    • @RussianwithDariaMikhay
      @RussianwithDariaMikhay  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yeah, there are a lot words in Russian which were borrowed from other languages. And we use plenty of modern words like Internet, hype, tag, depression, board and etc

    • @orim298s
      @orim298s 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RussianwithDariaMikhay Yes it's interesting how many words are borrowed from other languages. I figure that the Russian language had many influences ( loan words ) from Turkey, Persia, Tartars, Mongols etc.. Looking forward to your Videos.

    Daria, are you planning on making any more Russian poem videos? I found the "To" by Pushkin to have been very useful, and do not see any other videos on TH-cam of poems in foreign languages intended to be memorized by non-native speakers (with Russian)

    Very useful! I'm going to Moscow at the end of July, I'm intolerant to milk (and food made with milk like butter, cream, cheese..), do you think it will be difficult to find something that I can eat? How can I say that in Russian in restaurants?

    • @americanexpat1605
      @americanexpat1605 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Many people in Moscow speak english. You will not have problems unless you go to small villages and towns

    • @ShaunStruwig
      @ShaunStruwig 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can say "Я хочу пить только водку, без молока, пожалуйста."

    • @RussianwithDariaMikhay
      @RussianwithDariaMikhay  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think everything will be fine, there are a lot of places and cafes which can offer food without milk.
      I'm intolerant to milk = У меня непереносимость лактозы
      Without milk = без молока
      Are there any milk products? = Там есть молочные продукты? (for example in the salad)

    What is геркулес then ? I thought it was oatmeal ... Please

    • @redbluewarrior099
      @redbluewarrior099 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's almost the same and some people don't make a difference but it's not totally the same thing. Oatmeal = овсянка. Геркулес is a commercial brand and semi-finished product, it's not wholemeal.
