@@WesternEquipment Mowed first time Sunday, amazing and was quick. I wanted to ask you I bought some jd grease The kind is SD Polyarea Part number is ty6341 I watched your grease video and you recommended this one Is this the proper one to grease all Zirk fittings on the x738 including deck? Always trust your input
Did you get any good pricing or did you have to pay full retail? I'm trying to decide between high used retail or new as both seem to be a bit higher then normal
I like the tractor style mower over the zero turns any day. They just ride better to me. Great video.
This one for sure rides better than most zero turns.
If you think a lawn tractor rides better, you haven't ridden a Ferris yet... Full coil-over suspension.
Always love the mow an acre series, glad y'all brought it back
Glad to see you are still a fan!
Great review. You are correct, the 700 series provides a better ride than a zero.
I definitely think so after doing this video. I was super impressed.
Great video, Western Equipment. Viewers would like to see mow an acre with a 72" deck. Make it happen, please!
Very nice mower, i wish i had that one i have steep hills and i only have an X310, i put atv tires on it
WHAT SIZE ? i have an X380... right wheel spins a lot..
That was satisfying and why can I smell the mowed grass
😂 😂
1 tip there, mow 2 passes inside, so you prevent throwing grass onto the road. it saves the road from damaging overtime
What damage do grass clippings do to the road?
@@rogerthomas169😂😂 TF he say?
You didn’t use the cruise control?
cool vid! something like a Stihl FC91 Edger would only take a few minutes and really make it look epic!
Yes, maybe soon I could demo one of these on this yard and really clean it up.
Would be an ideal tiller tractor if it came with affordable pto and 3 pt hitch
Just bought a new X738 Monday
Mine has the 54” deck
Haven’t use it yet
Nice! Let me know how it goes when you get a chance to mow with it!

Best thing I’ve ever bought

I did get a great deal they had 0% finance to if needed
Great machine
Lots of power
I really like the 7 series tractors but I think it would be "overkill" for my 1.5 acres
Always better to have more and not need it than to need it and not have it.
I got 2.5 but mow 1.5 and I love it. Get it done, get it done quick. Oh and put a snowblower on it and it makes snow cleanup fun
U hireing sir 💪👍🤛👊🤜🚜mow mow mow / I have X720 mower same thing cuz from C738 🤔???
It's not how fast you mow but how well you mow
Exactly!!!
I would like to have your guys to work on my John Deere D140 but I live in Georgia
slower the better
My Ferris ISX3300Z I think would mow faster. You should demo one on this acre.
takes me 1 hr & 30 mins to mow 3.2 acres on my deere x724.. getting that info from my mower plus app.
That is making pretty good time!
Does John Deere have any New Gator Models Coming Soon?
Good question! Nothing that I have heard of yet, but I will be waiting to see and will let the news out if I hear anything!
@@WesternEquipmentOkay!
To me X738 did pretty good compared to zero turn
Agreed! I really enjoyed mowing with this one!
@@WesternEquipment got to be fun testing all these mowers
Seems quite a bit quieter than my X758 diesel...
Really? Most of the time the gas mowers are louder than diesel. I may have to try this on the X700 series though.
now try the x739 60in...see if its even faster...
when you mow in circles mowing goes fast but the end result look like trash. Straight lines are better.
Just not as efficient.
