I've been looking for a recipe with the potato grated instead of boiled but haven't found one yet. That's how I grew up seeing it made and it's alot tastier than when the potato it boiled and flavour diluted.

The Reason why I haven't used raw grated potatoes is because potato takes a longer time to cook while all the other ingredients cooks faster and the potatoes remain a bit raw or under cooked.
