      Sir, me and my son are just starting to learn sign making. I've always wanted to do this for a living . I'm an artist and my son is a carpenter so should be a good team. I can only dream of being anywhere near your standards. DO you have any books out I can purches???

      @@erikwinkler I appreciate the encouragement -- I have mirrored small glass pieces (30x30cm) and just bought a sandblaster so I can make my own glue chip -- your stuff is on a totally different level than mine and it is a joy to watch!

    Gorgeous. Did you have to cover the gild and paint in clear enamel or anything to protect it before silvering?

      @@erikwinkler ​ Good to know, thank you. The areas to be painted and gilded were masked off when you silvered then I take it? I like the nice bright lines and am trying to piece it together in my head. I will be doing my first silvering soon. Thank you or the info. That is just amazing.
