Yeah I agree. I maybe changing the wire out for sure. It’s the only thing I don’t love but I also don’t mind much. But the solid red will sand out better on display like the one on the xeno

I was hell bent on getting The Legion Sabers version its a lot cheaper too practically half the price at around £375 but only issue i have with it, is the side vents. There shaping and the fact the light doesn't extend fully is a issue i can't unsee. The 89 CCSabers model fixes this with an accurate version, but at £612 i don't know if it's worth it just for that one fix as there's other sabers i still want to get.
But regardless the 89 Saber looks Phenomenal though a worthy rendition of Kylo Rens Crossguard, my jaw was in the floor when i saw it revealed in TFAs trailer and when in use in the full film and I still think it's cool today. A fantastic lightsaber design and Kylo Ren was a good character just didn't live up to all his potential.
I wanna get my own Kylo Ren lightsaber soon. Such a great design.

Nice improvement overall! Not really a fan of the translucent red wire, but the extra hilt lights and the side blades are much better. Nice idea with the kill switches also.
That is an awesome saber. I don't know how Kylo swung that around without slicing his hand off with the side blades.
Wow that's super awesome Jon I always liked kylo ren's lightsaber and his character though his character did go through to many changes but all the way around his character was cool kinda like the Black knight but way cooler I have 4 toy versions of his lightsaber by far an awesome lightsaber🐉

So the overall size is different from LGT (XENO) hilt. I was hoping the 89saber side blades might have compatible with the LGT one. :(
I'm selling my old Kylo Ren on eBay & getting this. Found an 89 sabers with a GHv3 for just $650. Gonna hafta buy another red blade cover for a 7/8 blade though...
Oh I would love this in a GHv3. I would swap this out in a second for a GHv3.

You know me, I'm not a fan of cross guard hilts. But I do have to say with those accent lights that does look pretty darn good.
I've a few hilts that use 21700 Li-On battery (3 from UW/TPS) and yes they're a bit chonky, but for single chassis with multiple blades they do help. I've one or 2 double bladed hilts that use the normal 18650 and they just don't last as long.
I did order that VS Baylan Skoll hilt reboot and can't wait to get it.
Yeah I’m gonna have to order a couple extra of these 21700. Never seen them before. I figure it’s a high capacity battery for all these extra lights. I feel like it couple be very useful for people with quad star blades but this won’t fit in any of my other sabers To try
@@TheCollectorsOutpost I'd suggest if you're going to get more 21700 batteries, not to cheap out on them. I've spent $35 on better quality replacements, because the values the bargain ones give compared to what they actually do aren't all that good.
I'd also suggest if you don't already have one, get a good battery charger that also shows the battery health. The cheap chargers they ship with the hilts are utter trash.

Great video! I ended up purchasing one and also found that one of the cross guards was near impossible to slide in. Did you have to sand down the blade to get yours to fit? It seems to be only one of the receivers as either blade fits into the other receiver pretty easily.
I did notice one side being tighter for sure.
One of my kylo ren blades isn’t lighting up what do I do :( one of the flame blades
