In this video, I show a live recording of how to effectively read the tape and successfully make a trading decision based off the analysis.. Reading the tape involves watch the Level 2 + Time & Sales. By reading the tape, we will not get faked out by the market makers and we will be able to buy real strong breakouts/breakdowns.
We use the Level 2 with Time & Sales to see if the buyers and sellers are aggressive or not. We can see if there is a hidden buyer or a hidden seller in the market. If they spoof the market and/or their true intention.

I used to use level 2. Never again.. it's not needed anymore.. I just use the order book in conjunction with my levels. Hidden buyers and sellers aren't hidden on level 3 only on level 2. Ask that for access to the total book it's cheap and makes it cake to see where it's going a long time before it goes there. I know hrs ahead of time where it's gonna bounce and reject. Price migrates to liquidity and knowing where the whales are parked is a game changer. Level 3 order book shows the entire book not just a level 2 snapshot.

Great video. Really appreciate you doing this in real time. Level 2 and T&S make more sense when I can see them in an active trade with your comments along the way. Hope to apply this knowledge next time I am in a similar trade around a key level. Always tricky to understand Level 2 with all the spoofing going on and limited info we have about some algo or institution / dark pools not showing up clearly. Price and volume really told the story here . . .it always does :-)

Woah woah. Great video super informational + great psychology example. After the 350 breakout, price pulled back, and I know for certain, I would have pulled out at that point. Never did I realize that is trading P&L and not trading my plan. Opened my eyes to something new.

is not a fake breakout… is u getting there at what u think would be the breakout but the market makers know that… theyre gonna work u up there and then pull the rug… is not a fake breakout to them, is part of the plan… sometimes theyll continue bringing it higher after the “breakout” then u stay… but i like to be in way before the breakout… so i can benefit of the move and get out at the fake breakout point😉

4 months in. Grinder 15 hour days. Thought I turned turned a curve Oct 5 (Bday) made 20k in 2 weeks only to give in back in 2 days. Ik why. Over trading and over leveraging but I’m also not their yet. That said my question, you said “ you want the offers to thin out on break outs”. Is this because on those breakouts the offer is the lower of the 2 and if it’s moving it has to move on the ask?

how does the individual "spoof" the market when there are no big asks on the level two bringing the the stock price down while he is still able to buy shares? i dont understand how you can keep adding to the position but yet it rejects the 150 level.

Great video. Question : I know previously you day-traded options. You trades shares now ? With option trading spreads are higher and hard to get filled but with shares, the reward is not that high. What are your thoughts

Today on SPY level 2, the price 409.13 kept popping up periodically on the ASK. All my Bid Sizes and Ask Sizes are only single digits so I don't know what this means. Does this mean anything in your opinion?
