Mama bear you get Mama of the AT for going up that fire tower with Little bear. I love your all’s hike and praying you all make it all the way to Maine.❤❤❤❤Happy Hiking 🏔️⛺️🥾🥾
Another beautiful video of your lives on the trail. Mama Bear so proud of you climbing your second tower. Conquering your fears like a champ. Little Bear, love your confidence, joy, and perseverance. You and Mama Bear make it look so easy! Love your responses to the snow coming down. It sounded like you were having quite a bit of ice crystals. I felt like it was Christmas Eve with you two! I’m from up North, Binghamton, NY and though I have retired here in Florida, I do miss the snow. I believe it was a few years ago and my hometown had 41 inches of snow and at one time during that storm the snow rate was 2 feet per hour! Can’t wait for you all to see your family. Happy trails, BEARS! 🐱🧸🐻⛰️🥾🌨️❄️☃️👍
Love when LB takes the camera. She should do some filming for a whole day. It'd be interesting to see what she would film and talk about from her perspective. What an experience you two are having!
Mama Bear, on the tower, you realized the example a parent needs to provide her or his children. You put yourself in God's hands in faith and He gave you the strength to do what needed to be done. You done good, ma'am, and of course, so did He. I have hiked 1550 miles of the AT and every time, I find myself turning to Him, to give me the strength to continue when my fears would hold me back. Sometimes its a tower, a tall or steep mountain, a watercourse that has to be forded, but remember He, who is your strength and your salvation. Enjoying your VLog. BCM
Thank you for your informative videos so much appreciated thank you both. I think you're probably in a sleep storm. Not a snowstorm hearing the rattling of what was falling against your tent. Snow a lot more quiet unless you're in a blizzard a really big snowstorm. Thank you for your videos I'll keep following you. Keep going you both doing a good job on the videos and the hiking. Stay safe stay healthy the two of you.
A campers hack , if you are on a slope when you pitch your tent. If it is raining dog a small trench on the hight side of your tent This will wash away the water away from the tent and help keep your floor dry. Keep on conquering your fears you two are amazing!
Little Bear 🐻 you have such a courageous Mom who will climb those towers with you even being afraid of heights. A 3.5 to 4.0 rate of walking is fast and up hill. Little Bear your trail name may just need to change to “ Skedaddle” . Enjoy your family reunion and please keep posting. Love & Prayers ❤😊.
I love the reaction from folks who dont see snow very often. As a person from Indiana where we get our fair share of it even when i see it in a new setting it is beautiful and i get a little excited like a school girl and im not of fan of snow😂😂😂😂
My wife and I are enjoying watching you guys hike! We started section hiking the A.T. back in 2018. Last year we made it to New Jersey! We have always gone in May. Looking forward to another adventure soon! We are 68 & 69 years old now. It is fun seeing places we have already hiked. Enjoy your journey! God bless! -Chief and Zipfizz from Michigan.
I was raised in Florida. This brought back memories of my delight to seeing snow falling from the sky. People who have snow all the time do not understand that joy. Thanks for reminding me.
I ate so many uncrustables on the AT! 😂 never got old! They will forever remind me of my thru hike! Also, Thanks for reminding me about the white rocks! They were cool. I was hiking with supermom and supergirl in this section. Good memories. Thanks for sharing
Good job Little Bear for encouraging Mama Bear to do hard things. Great Job MB for being an example of courage to your daughter. I would be absolutely in your camp in awe of the snow as well!!! It is magical for us Southerners (and yes, I understand you Northerners feel differently… it’s okay, just let us enjoy it).
Beautiful views. I never used to have fears of heights or bridges or other things when I was a kid. I used to climb trees and we'd climb as far as we could. I think after you have kids, you have something to live for and are more aware. I love snow. Unfortunately we didn't get much here in Wisconsin this year which is very unusual. I look forward to your videos. You guys are awesome and are doing fabulous. 🎉 Keep on keeping on. Oh and those are snow showers. ❄️
In younger days, I worked with ladders , roofs, climbed trees, etc... but as I got older, my fear of high edges grew. I had a roofer tell me that it was because when I was younger, I didn't really believe I could die but now know I can.
I am such a kid at heart. When LB pulled the plug on the sleep pad, I laughed. 😂 Those white rocks were enormous pieces of beautiful white quartz. "Accept, and adapt." Words of wisdom MB. Glad you were both ok after the gravity test. (fall) 😉 Another great day in the books bears. You're crushing it. Enjoy the NOC and your wonderful family. ✌️
As a Canadian, it's impossible not to laugh at the pitiful amount of snow that was 😂 but on the other hand, it warmed my heart. It reminded me how excited I used to get when I was a kid during the first snowfalls of the season😊
Hahaha, I understand for sure. We were so excited and in awe. It was just so beautiful! Perfect amount to enjoy and not be treacherous hiking down the mountain. 😊
@@wildflowersadventures that's always the best amount lol! I was watching with my daughter and she says "what?!? That's not snooooow!" She's 5. It was cute and funny 🤣
You both have very good attitudes on your trip north. Great videos showing how it really is. Be safe. 🫶👌Looking forward for your continuing adventures.
Well you did it Mama Bear...another tower under your belt. Beautiful music that accompanied the gorgeous views from the tower. Love Little Bears excitement over the snow. A true Floridian! I was the same way when we had snow at our house in Blairsville after living in FL for 50 years. The excitement of snow falling never gets old. Enjoy your time with family. Happy Trails...Winkle
This video just cheered me up so much! Yes, the lunch spot was pretty, and your hike was nice and had some good scenery and the tower had great views but the way that both of you had twinkles in your eyes over the snow, it was priceless! You're doing great! Enjoy your family visit. geek
I had to smile when you guys were so excited about snow. I liked little Bear's comment on winter wonderland. You guys are having such a great experience. Thanks for sharing your journey.
I'm afraid of heights also, but that view was so worth it!! The clouds made it even more beautiful and dramatic. So glad you're getting to see your family. ❤
Your videos are great I know how much time it takes to put out a daily video you rock. Little bear stride is great, what a great mother daughter adventure.
Thanks so much! It is a lot of work, but I know we’ll be glad we took the time and effort to. We’ll be able to relive the moments for years to come. And sharing this journey is another fun part of our adventure.
You gals where flying!🙏🙌💪🥾Conquerors of heights and trail! 😂 ”No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.“ Romans 8:37-39 ESV
I love the hike down into the NOC. Not sure if my mind was playing tricks or I could really smell the food as I was coming down the mountain, but it was like dangling a hamburger in front of my nose. 😂
Watching the two of you get excited over the snow, was the highlight! It even made me excited! (this is coming from a northerner who lives in one of the snowiest places in the US😉)
We call that “Dogwood Winter” here in the smokies, when it’s spring and it gets warm… but right when the dogwoods bloom we get cold and often times snow. Then, there’s another, called “Blackberry Winter”. Same thing happens, when blackberries bloom.
The VIEWS are amazing!! Overcoming a fear feels rewarding. (Adapting to so many transitions). Thank you for sharing, teaching and achieving so many obstacles. Stay safe on the trails. (Praise Him).😊
Lil Bear you are doing a great job helping Momma Bear build courage. Good luck talking her into Climbing Shuckstack tower out of the NOC. Honestly it is a GREAT view, but definitely a sketchy tower. Thank you for Sharing. Much Respect. Love and Like 🥰🥰
Snow beautiful snow so exciting for little bear! ☃️❄️ but it’s the freezing rain that not fun! 🥶🥶. So be careful going down hill!! Take care and God Bless! & Hike On!! 🥾🧗♀️🏕️😊🥶🙏❤️
OK, my highlight of this video was watching LB impersonate the way that MB climbed the tower. That was awesome. LB, remember this name when you get into the Smokies: Shuckstack Fire Tower. I can't wait to see you get her up that one. So glad y'all got snow. We lived in Florida for over 30 years and it NEVER snowed once. Now in Middle Tennessee, we get it every year in January and February, sometimes even into March. So glad y'all are doing so well. Be safe, make memories, and God bless.
Your little things that make you happy are called Shining Clubmoss, they grow wild in that area but are not invasive. What a view from that tower, still amazes me what God has created for us to view and take care of.
You should never feel like you have to reply and when on relaxing and family days it’s good to be immersed in your time with them. It’s just awesome to follow along. Happy trails.🤘🏻🥾⛰️
Thanks for showing the wet and dirty tent! I’ve been pitching my tent in the backyard for practice (it’s a trekking pole tent) and it rained on me yesterday. Was thinking about how you deal with pitching and taking down a tent in an active rain storm. Thanks for keeping it real!
I know that tower climb was terrifying, not sure I could have done it (not a fan of heights), but the 360 view at the top absolutely took my breath away!! The things we do for our kids, eh 🤦🏼♀️? Though the view was a nice reward. Great job Mama Bear! You guys are rocking it. Happy trekking! 🥾
How cool it was to get a little bit of snow today! When I see that kind of snow, it makes me smile. I had to smile at your expressiveness prior to climbing that big tower. Good for you facing your fear of heights. Enjoy time with your family! ..
What a good day… glad you got snow instead of rain… just not a lot of snow. Glad you climbed the tower (I have fear of heights too) the view was amazing!
Good morning, Mama Bear & Little Bear. What a day. Cold, rain, colder, & SNOW. Mama Bear - what a great example to set for Little Bear - that you can face your fears and be victorious. I know you really are afraid, but know that those towers will set you up for some challenges further down the trail. I'm so proud of you both for the way you are handling whatever comes. Sounded like you had a little sleet mixed in with the snow. I could hear it hitting the tent. I'm so excited that your family is meeting you in the NOC area. Hope you're having a great visit. Ya'll take care of each other. Stay safe. See you tomorrow.
A fall, snow and a tower and you’re still smiling. Good on you Mama B. Then again you both have awesome hiking partners!! Have a wonderful reunion with your peeps.
I’m sorry, but that look you gave when you knew you had to suck it up and climb the tower, just made me laugh out loud. I am really enjoying your adventure of a lifetime! You both are doing great! ✌🏼💕
The little plants that look like a miniature forest were cool. I can just see little leprechauns or gnomes in there. Views were really impressive today & you hugging little Bear on that tower is definitely something be for your book!
Thank you so much for braving the climb up the tower to show that absolutely beautiful view of the mountains!!!! You both are rocking it!!! Stay safe and continue to enjoy your EPIC journey 🥾🥾🥾🥾🏕️🪵
As an Iowan who just survived another snowy winter , I find it sweet that you two are enjoying the snow❄️❄️❄️ It sounds like you are getting some sleet also. I’m loving your hike❤
Lol I love your reactions to the snow! 😀 It's so cute! I know being Floridians, you are not used to seeing snow so it is nice seeing your reactions to it! I am glad it wasn't a lot though so that it didn't make the trail difficult to navigate. Great job Mama Bear in conquering your fears of the fire tower! I am sure the views were worth it! 😊
I just love Little Bears reaction to the snow! I hope you get to experience some really good accumulation at some point during your hike! From watching some other vlogs, it looks like north of where you are in this video got quite a bit of snow! ❄️ Snow is simply magical 🥰 It makes the world so pretty and there’s a different kind of Peace to the world with fresh snow ❄️ on the ground ❤ If you do get a good amount of snow, make sure and Little Bear make Snow Angels 👼🏼 🥰 Seeing your family must be so exciting!!! Especially your pupper dogs! 🐾 The more I watch, the more I am convinced that I WILL do a Thru Hike of the AT! Granted, it will most likely be Solo and with my pup (a border collie). Do you have any suggestions for future Solo female Canadian Thru Hikers? Have a wonderful time with your family! I’m certain you’ll be enjoying every minute ❤
So on Saturday I saw snow on top of the mountain caps as I flew over the range on the way to Charlotte! I said a prayer for y’all and didn’t know how excited you would be to see it vs worrying about you being cold. Glad to see y’all are so resilient and positive!
You are a brave momma and show little bear strength and courage. Love all the little flowers and boy what a view from the tower. Safe travels to u both 💕🐻🐻
Mama bear…you are not alone with the high shy feelings. My wife said this reminds her of me. But, yes…Courage is walking thru the fear. You did it! Enjoying your adventures. Happy Trails!
First I love when you show us camp life. Now Mama Bear I am so happy you went up the tower. The view was awesome❤You are both crushing this hike. Keep up the great work. The snow you were having sounded more like sleet mixed with snow, but I’m glad you got to see it❤
Congratulations on conquering your fear of Heights and climbing up the tower! You were re warded with beautiful views! Glad you will see the rest of your family tomorrow! Safe travels!
Awesome! The adventure and experiences continue. Great views! Lil Bear did a great job filming after your fall. I'm glad you didn't get hurt. Have a great visit with your family.
I grew up in Jacksonville so I understand the excitement of snow. Now living in Virginia, I still get that same excitement. Please be careful and God bless!!✌️🙂❤️
Spectacular awesome beautiful vlogging, hiking and scenery, all the very best health and happiness, making special unforgettable memories to last and share with friends and family, as good as it gets.
Another great video guys. Beautiful view from the tower, and congrats to you MB for your example of courage. Originally from So Ga, so I know how exciting that snow was. Where I now live, it's still exciting every winter. LB, I'm glad you were there for your mom when she fell, and also to encourage her up the tower. Y'all are both doing so good, with the hike itself and with your attitudes. God bless you as you walk on.
Thank you for sharing another wonderful video! Good for you Mama Bear for being a great example to your daughter of how to face your fears...you did another tower! Being from Wisconsin I have to chuckle at your elatedness over snow (it truly is a beautiful thing). Enjoy your time with your wonderful family! Cheering you onward!
As a fellow home educated graduate early 1990s and a college graduate in listening to little bears articulation and speech , she is ahead of most girls in her age grade by at least 2 years if not 3. Mama bear, you should be and inspiration to all moms out there to educate your children in ways that will make them ready to endure hardship and life I have tried to teach my daughters when they were little and would come and visit,(I am divorced), to love the outdoors and how to survive I do SEARCH AND RESCUE and have been in the area you are in several times on missions, please be careful and prayers for a safe journey. Do not hesitate if you need assistance to activate your Garmin SOS ( watch homemade wanderlust account of her story of needing the SOS) GOD BLESS YOU
"I set myself up with that apple pie"...love it! You go, Little Bear!
It wasn’t a fall…it was a trail inspection. 😂
Hahaha! Yes!! 😂
Ooo! I like the way you think.
So proud of you ladies. You’re an award winning mother. Little Bear is such a role model so mature.
yup, i think Mama & Papa Bear have some good parenting skills.
Thank you so much! Being a mama is my favorite blessing in the world. 💙🙏🏼
Thank you! 🙏🏼 💙
Mama bear you get Mama of the AT for going up that fire tower with Little bear. I love your all’s hike and praying you all make it all the way to Maine.❤❤❤❤Happy Hiking 🏔️⛺️🥾🥾

Love when LB takes the camera. She should do some filming for a whole day. It'd be interesting to see what she would film and talk about from her perspective.
What an experience you two are having!
Thank you! I love seeing the trail and the world through her eyes. 😊💙
I let her lead as far as filming goes. Filming a whole day is pretty taxing.
She is just a mature young lady. I’m sure you’re very proud of her.
Yes, I’m very proud of her and all of my children. 😊

You both got this!!
Little Bear is amazing. She is a hiking machine. Her calm presence is an excellent way to start my day. Thanks for sharing.
A campers hack , if you are on a slope when you pitch your tent. If it is raining dog a small trench on the hight side of your tent
This will wash away the water away from the tent and help keep your floor dry. Keep on conquering your fears you two are amazing!

My husband and I (he’s another thru hiker) got engaged at the top of Wesser Bald fire tower. I love it there. ❤
Little Bear your a good kid
Thank you! She really is. 😊

2300 miles down, 900 to go! Lol! Small piece of advise-keep a good sense of humor and don't take yourself too seriously!
I was raised in Florida. This brought back memories of my delight to seeing snow falling from the sky. People who have snow all the time do not understand that joy. Thanks for reminding me.
Just want to say yall are doing a good job on the trail 😊

Good to get out of your comfort zone. Little Bear imitating you on the tower was a hoot. Enjoy the snow.

Its awesome seeing you ladies hiking together mother and daughter its a life lesson. You guys are great.
We got in that snow in the Smokies at Laurel shelter(off AT). It was beautiful and cold!! Fed a ton of people at Fontana. Way to go, guys!!
You’re welcome. It’s not fun, and it’s messy, but it’s just a part of trail life. Yo u get used to being dirty. 😂
Love, love, love your videos! You two are wonderful! So happy you get to see your family soon!

Thank you so much for braving the climb up the tower to show that absolutely beautiful view of the mountains!!!! You both are rocking it!!! Stay safe and continue to enjoy your EPIC journey 🥾🥾🥾🥾🏕️🪵
Thank you! 😊
Those happy little plants remind me of aquarium plants. The views are beautiful, i especially like the clouds. ✌🏼
As an Iowan who just survived another snowy winter , I find it sweet that you two are enjoying the snow❄️❄️❄️ It sounds like you are getting some sleet also. I’m loving your hike❤
Thanks! We are enjoying our time out here. 😊
Thanks so much!
I look forward to seeing your video each day.I think it is great that you both get to share your journey. Safe travels.
Thank you! We’re glad you’re here. 😊
So on Saturday I saw snow on top of the mountain caps as I flew over the range on the way to Charlotte! I said a prayer for y’all and didn’t know how excited you would be to see it vs worrying about you being cold. Glad to see y’all are so resilient and positive!
Love the stills...they are beautiful
You are a brave momma and show little bear strength and courage. Love all the little flowers and boy what a view from the tower. Safe travels to u both 💕🐻🐻
Mama bear…you are not alone with the high shy feelings. My wife said this reminds her of me. But, yes…Courage is walking thru the fear. You did it! Enjoying your adventures. Happy Trails!
First I love when you show us camp life. Now Mama Bear I am so happy you went up the tower. The view was awesome❤You are both crushing this hike. Keep up the great work. The snow you were having sounded more like sleet mixed with snow, but I’m glad you got to see it❤
Great day. Thank you for sharing the challenges as well as the triumphs. Those tower views were outstanding. Keep on truckin'
Congratulations on conquering your fear of Heights and climbing up the tower! You were re warded with beautiful views! Glad you will see the rest of your family tomorrow! Safe travels!

That tower was worth it to get that view of God's beauty and creation from up at the top.
It definitely was! 😊
365 times in the Bible we are told not to fear...find your strength 😊❤
Amen!! No fear here! 🙏🏼💙
The view from the top of the tower was incredible! Well done!
Awesome! The adventure and experiences continue. Great views! Lil Bear did a great job filming after your fall. I'm glad you didn't get hurt. Have a great visit with your family.
I lived in Alaska for 37 years, I don't get very excited when I see snow anymore...
you girls are really starting to hit your groove! hitting some good mileage! God Bless, be safe!!
I grew up in Jacksonville so I understand the excitement of snow. Now living in Virginia, I still get that same excitement. Please be careful and God bless!!✌️🙂❤️
You are probably getting your hiker legs, thus, your challenges may be getting easier. Hike on, enjoy your family and good vibes ❤
Thank you! We’re grateful for your encouragement. God bless! 🙏🏼
I love this so much! I’m planning a thru hike once I can arrange time from work! You two are a true blessing!!!
Awesome!! That’s so exciting!!
As a fellow home educated graduate early 1990s and a college graduate in listening to little bears articulation and speech , she is ahead of most girls in her age grade by at least 2 years if not 3.
Mama bear, you should be and inspiration to all moms out there to educate your children in ways that will make them ready to endure hardship and life
I have tried to teach my daughters when they were little and would come and visit,(I am divorced), to love the outdoors and how to survive I do SEARCH AND RESCUE and have been in the area you are in several times on missions, please be careful and prayers for a safe journey.
Do not hesitate if you need assistance to activate your Garmin SOS ( watch homemade wanderlust account of her story of needing the SOS)
GOD BLESS YOU
Thank you so much! I appreciate your kindness and support. Little Bear is a special girl and I’m so proud of her. God bless. 🙏🏼
