Love this video…but now I have a question, how do you route logic for live stream when you are using two different devices…on for logic and one for running OBS?
@@MattHorton yes, I watched to the end, which prompted me to ask the question. I thought you had one. Loopbacks is a whole new topic to understand :). Thanks anyway.

Hi Matt, Thanks for your video. I have everything connected now and it seems to work. Big problem though: When singing I would like to hear myself through the headphones as well. So I connected my headphones to the interface and I can hear myself now, but with a big delay (between the moment I actually sing and when it comes through the headphones). It would be great if you could listen with the effects at the same time with headphones on. So those of us performing its always massive to hear the performance so we can control the mic etc. video was awesome though, thanks!

The black hole stuff is great, however I wouldn't advice adding audio to your OBS broadcast like that, as you cannot then control it by scene. If you add it as an audio input capture in the sources area you can then have a splash screen with no audio input at the start of your live stream. Using the Mix/Aux means your mic will always be live, when you go live.
@@MattHorton No worries, you can do it any way you like. Setting it up as I suggested means no need to mute or unmute as it will be automatic on scene change. Just thought I'd mention it, as it's an easier way to do it.

oh...nervermind...I need to activate the little "I" for input monitoring right? I think now that works. Now Im getting signal without hitting record. Now I have to test if the effects are implemented as well. Great video! I was looking for a solution for that problem for a really long time now and have watched countless videos, read countless threads but your video is simple and to the point nd solves all problems :D
I don't mean to spam the comments but now Im really confused...the audio from logic also gets into obs when I just select the interface as output in logic and input in obs? so why do I need blackhole?
It sounds like either there is something unique about your setup or you're still pulling blackhole audio and not realizing, because that is not the case normally.
Hi, Have this program to Windows 64??? or similar program??tks
Hey Matt, I just accidentally installed Black Hole without closing out of Logic and now none of my plugins are working and I keep getting a message saying"driver not found" do you have any advice on what to do?
Not really other than reboot or uninstall blackhole
Thank you :)
Please tell me the same thing, only without a virtual cable, when there is Focusrite 18i8
I don't have one
But I did do my best to explain it at the end of this video
Everytime I try to stream or just having OBS up and running while Pro Tools is running in the background it always gives me a High CPU error the same with Logic but it plays the audio but in a bad way? Anway to fix this my mac has 2.2ghz with 16 GB of Ram & its Quad-Core
I'd start by disabling your video preview in OBS and see if that helps
i LOVE you . i have been trying to figure this out for fucking MONTHS. thank you so so so much. your video just really helped me out. thank you.
Hehe glad it worked out!
How can I stream it on TikTok while being also connected in logic c with all plugins ?
Sorry can't help
so how would this work for a 32 channel mixer. I have a Midas m32 and I want to use that.
probably can't get all 32, but blackhole has a 16ch version
how do i get to the mullti-output device on my screen? i can't find that
