Meat Canyon can be fascinating he takes an idea and twists it into something unnerving, but just relatable enough you begin to see something profound it in
I agree, I have personally a handful of odball things like antique cookbooks, antique tools musical instruments, even more sewing machines then most people need...
The only thing I collect is rocks and minerals and about 15% of them are those that I found myself either in abandoned mines (the safe ones) or simply being at the right place. and my dad who spent my whole childhood telling me that the rocks should stay outside that the driveway was full of them, is now the one who went to mont lyall with me for the second time to mine some geodes.
Alicia: I feel personally attacked a little bit by this final monologue... Me:....yeah *looks to my left at ever growing Warhammer collection*.....same here XD
I love collecting old consoles and games, especially Nintendo ones, but unlike many adicted collectors I'd never let it get out of hand or buy something I notice when I know I'm not financially in a good spot.
Feeling personally attacked a little bit? Same... Same Now go sell their stuff they wont need it, then sell it that's the important part don't keep it. Trust me, if I fell onto this cash cow I'd milk it dry
Making friends, talking to women, and being an adult can be hard but will probably bring you more happiness when you finally succeed than giving up and trying to fill that void with plastic imitations. Collecting things that make you happy is perfectly fine as long as you aren't using it as a surrogate for actual social interaction or to avoid confronting reality.
I appreciate the general message of this message, extremes are bad, moderation is best. The quality and subtle horror creeping into a great ugliness is done very well as expected of Meatcanyon. I do feel a little attacked too, but that's just ego wanting to say "NO I'm FINE!" And ignoring real problems turns to a mess real quick. Great reaction vid!
When I was really young I used to play Jak and Daxter on my PS2 I really wish they’d remaster it like Ratchet and Clank, those two are my favourite PlayStation games.
17:54 So Meatcanyon doesn't always hit the mark with the messages of the videos but I'd argue this one (while being very blunt) does actually hit. There are definitely times in my life where I retreated into hobbies and gaming to avoid my life's complications. It's fine to indulge every once in a while but if this video makes you defensive it might be because it hits too close to home.
Me dumping a couple hundred at a time for some highly detailed GFL figures of AR team. Two of them are the party dress models because those were the ones available for SOPII and RO635 but theyre very fashionable and adorable. M4A1 Mod3 will come out in July. Id have had STAR15 if Ukiyokomo wasnt a shitbag company that took my money in payments and DIPPED! Tell you what though, they release a Sangvis M16A1 and its over for me. I might have to sell some organs if they go as far as making a Tareus and Narciss figure cause trauma and psycho beans are like bread and butter.
IF your financial responsible. Most people aren't though. most people don't know how to make money they don't know that if they just take there money they spent on there collectables and put it in shares they would have made so much more money that they wouldn't even need to work any more.

Filling canyons with meat is fun. This is a totally innocent statement.

He took their neglected goldfish how sweet
Very sweet and heartwarming, but I hope they get along with his crab.
Then again my expertise is pretty much none.
@@trash-heap3989the crab was dead friend, the conch shell that was leftover was meant to be a sentimental reminder
I’m fairly certain Melvin is a grown adult

14:12 - Oh nooo! It's SOMA thing. Everyone should go through the SOMA game at least once. What an experience.
I'll admit, I have a nostalgic collection. But I know when to stop, and not let it become everything to me.
When I was really young I used to play Jak and Daxter on my PS2 I really wish they’d remaster it like Ratchet and Clank, those two are my favourite PlayStation games.
collecting sketchbooks and video games would be the closest for me.
Oh look he saved their fish too
God I've probably spent well over a hundred on Love Nikki alone, so I feel ya, Alicia.

Ah yes, we are gonna have nightmares tonight fellas! Lets goooo
Nowadays I collect Dreamcast games and Game Boy Advance games. One day I can add more consoles to the party, but those two are a start
That's how Game Chasin go...
I feel very called out by this video
I liked this one because I am exhausted by nolstagia everywhere. It's just there to keep people from moving on and growing.
You should've saw the previous episodes of Melvins Macabre
Tim splinter went hard though
Understood, never give the kids toys. They don't need it. 🚗
Stick with a bend.

I collect playing cards. Only the nice ones though. Like Shingeki no Kyojin (AOT) or containment breach playing cards.
I don’t even know where to start. So disturbing 😮😮😮😮😮😮
