    Everyone has a suggestion on what you should have done! Lol, you did a great job. You got it unstuck without breaking anything or anyone getting hurt. Good job!

    You really got that stuck. 😮. Good recovery though. I’ve got the same tractor. One time had to chain some cordwood onto the back tire and pop it out. Always fun doing tractor stuff even when things go sideways.

    You did more work by hand than you did with the tractor. Lol
    You were definitely determined to get out of there, Good for you! 👍

    Good job getting out. Same sort of thing happened to me. I bought chains for the rear wheels and haven't got stuck again thankfully.

    I have a Massy GC1710 with the loader and backhoe. I had an acquaintance ask if I would do a bit of work for him, before a function he was having ( my wife and I were invited so a went to help). It had rained for a couple days and I got stuck, he started laughing, but stopped immediately when I used the backhoe to move myself over and push my way out.

    Yikes!! Now that is stuck. I had the same issue when I first got my BX. I learned real quick to use the bucket to get out. Even the back hoe is good, if you have one. Take care and stay safe. From Petawawa, Ontario.

    Nice job. It's refreshing to see an operator do the prep work, and not just immediately yank on a stuck tractor!

      Also use the Diff lock, and there is no weight in the rear tires. To me looked like a 3 minute task to get it out.

    Does your tractor not have a differential locking capability? Not all your tires were turning during the your extraction.

    she got a little light there for a bit! needed the weight of the box blade But needed it off too, using the bucket to curl and push is a prime way to get out of situations like that. good work Have Fun just be careful!!

      @DVeck89  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      What would be the benefit of going down with the tractor Vs jumping clear of it? I’m genuinely curious. I don’t see how being stuck to the tractor would be better in this situation.

    • @ericwittersheim
      @ericwittersheim ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@DVeck89, the ROPs is designed to protect the driver. Jumping off and getting pinned by the tractor is what causes many deaths or broken bones.

    200' 5/16 wire rope, 6 clamps 2 blocks, 1 long anchor strap, 1 big tree, and your truck. Get it set up and put it away for when you need it. You would be out in minutes.

  • @realxxbulletsxx7624

    I have muddy spots like that on my property too. After much discussion with various professionals, I opted for the R1 Ag tires. Glad I did. Was worried the R4s, and even the R14s, would not hack it. Time will tell for me. Glad you were able to get unstuck safely.

    • @DVeck89
      @DVeck89  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's only really like that in the spring. The rest of the year my property is pretty dry and I'm driving over grass I don't want to damage too much. So AG tires wouldn't be great for that. Versa Turf tires are probably what I would consider if I was getting new tires. From what I've seen they look like they can handle mud and not damage grass too bad.

  • @ma6netho
    @ma6netho ปีที่แล้ว

    if you had lifted the front loader 90 degree (max) upp in the air, then connected a rope to it from the treee behind you (high up). Then when you lower the frontloader it would pulled the tractor backward, while reversing it. probably.

  • @joeleonard447
    @joeleonard447 ปีที่แล้ว

    Unless the boxscrape was really dragging the ground, should have left it on and chained to it. You drove that tractor into that spot, did not dig it in too deep by spinning and spinning the tires. So, with a tractor that small, should have not been too difficult to pull it out backwards with your truck.

  • @fredwildauer9590
    @fredwildauer9590 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    You could have lifted up your loader, pulled the bucket back, pushed it down in the ground, and then while your tractor was in reverse, flip the bucket forward. And then repeat that several times backing out of the situation. As you decided to remove the box blade, another thing you could’ve done is take a log or a 4 x 4 that is longer than the tractor is wide and chained that to your rear wheels , place your tractor in reverse which would’ve lifted your tractor up a little bit and then lay more logs down to create a bed which could have saved yourself having to use a jack and shovel to get out.

    What a pain for sure! Kind of wondering why you didn’t hook the chain up and pull it with the truck?

    • @DVeck89
      @DVeck89  ปีที่แล้ว

      I didn’t have the right hitch attachment for the truck to safely pull with and I was afraid of breaking something on the tractor since I wouldn’t be able to see what was happening with it.
