あげ (age)
- Probably just came from the word/s 上げ (age) which means "up" and 上げる (ageru) which means "to raise".
- There is the slang あげみざわ (agemizawa) which is popularized by a TH-camr in around 2018-2019. It is said when you're feeling excited or hyped. Basically a bit close to how Luca uses POG.
- There's also the slang あげぽよ (agepoyo) that became popular around 2010 which means and is used when being excited or high tension (tenshon takai).
(I don't know if the the two slangs are actually connected but the meanings are close so I included them.)
まんじ or 卍 (manji)
- Yes, this kanji is the same as the one in Tokyo Revengers. Originally, it is connected to Buddhism and is used as a map symbol in temples in Japan. Around 2017, the slang まじまんじ/まじ卍 (maji manji) became popular. This basically means "awesome", or "cool" and is said when one's feeling excited. This is also very close to how Luca uses POG.
