Gilbert Frisco yeah I’m thinking, if BL takes off as big as people are saying, it might be worth investing in Filipino language schools.
I speak Spanish reasonably well too, so hearing him speak is such a tease. So many times I feel like I’m almost grasping what he says and then the meaning all disintegrates.
I’m getting really curious about the grammar structure too. If there is so much spanish, is their language’s grammar using the SVO structure?

e. g. Kokoy ate a rice cake.
Kumain si Kokoy ng kakanin.
Verb (eat-past)-subj marker-Kokoy-object marker-rice cake
Kumain ng kakanin si Kokoy.
Verb (eat-past)-object marker-rice cake-subject marker-Kokoy.
You can do SVO but is considered unnatural for most Tagalog speakers.
e.g. Si Kokoy ay kumain ng kakanin.

SVO is a good lesson, but you'll need to build on vocabulary first. Filipino verbs are very, very, very flexible due to verb conjugations. We use prefix (unlapì), suffix (hulapì), and infix (gitlapì). We can even turn nouns into verbs. Example: sinturon (belt) is a noun. To make it a verb in past tense, we say "sininturon" or "nasinturon." Both roughly translates to "was hit by a belt."
Anyways, maybe there's Filipino lessons here in YT! Philippines also have 100+ languages, so it's a misconception that all Filipinos speak wikang Filipino. There are Filipinos who speak in their native language(s) from different provinces, too. That's why some of us are bilingual or multi.

Kokoy, fan ako since Gameboys pero I know you have been in the industry before pa ng series na to. I have watched some of the interviews you had with interviewers who were more of like predators. You are great at what you are doing. Dito kasi sa Pinas, madalas kailangan magpakita ng laman tapos maraming bastos na mga interviewers. I am sure marami ka ng words of encouragement from people around you. Pero I just want to let you know na mas ibebless ka pa lalo. Hi kokoy, I’m a fan here. It’s my nth time watching Gameboys. Until now I still find it inspiring and I still cry everytime I watch it. I so love the series, kase it made me realize that life is short, and that I should not deprive myself from love. Kinikilig ako everytime I remember the caireel tandem. You just don’t know how both of you make me happy. Both of you are such a happy pill for a lot of people.
