I love de Luna's tough aura. The "killer instinct" , and never give the opponent a chance attitude. But Pagulayan is my man, my fellow Filipino-Canadian, friendly and fun loving . Geez, Alex used to be on of the top guys. I know he didn't get a chance to get the in stroke, but he doesn't seem to be playing anywhere like he used to. And did Jeff ever not make a ball on the break? He was killing it.
Alex is a better jump shooter than a kicker so he almost always loses safety battles. The reason why Efren excels in the kicking game is that in his generation doing jump shots constituted a foul. Using the rails was proof of real talent.
With this high level players, I think it would be more fun to use alternate break. Or even use the break 'box' like in Euro Open, which makes it harder to pot the ball. What you guys think?
Winner breaks is the dumbest idea to ever exist and this is proof of it. Imagine that after so many racks, Alex had actually gotten a chance to play and maybe run a rack. After sitting for so long and not getting a shot at a pot, chances are you are too cold and your chances of missing go up by a lot.
@@doraemon402 Maybe at that time the players have not found the 'trick' to pot the ball using this break system. I'm sure years from now they will also find a way to pot the ball using the break 'box' 😁 However what if we randomly put the ball without having to put ball no.1 in front and no 8, 9 or 10 in the middle plus using the break 'box'? Please share your comments 😁
I think the reality is, Alex lost every safety battle, and so probably would have lost this match regardless of what break format is used. Why drag it out twice as long by playing alternate break when the winner is already determined? As for being "too cold" that's what practice tables are for prior to the match.
@@IBeThatG i remember a guy beat me 9-0 and i couldnt be mad at him or at myself i must have got up 4 times maximum and always snookered. The balss were rolling for him somehow not for 1 or 3 games the whole 9 racks lol.
Alex couldn't get a roll in a bakery during this match like Everytime he kicked the safety ball and made a good lick he left it dead into one of the pockets
De Luna’s break is more on power but no precision at all! I remember one biado and him lost a big tournament because he overboard the cue ball due to too much power! He never learns though!
@@tylersebs3373 dudes an idiot. If you watch the match back you can see the cue ball heads for the same rail spot almost every time except on 2 breaks. He’s also regarded as one of the best breakers in pool with Shane and Corey.

I just don’t know why the Philippines keeps on sending De Luna well in fact there are lots of young talents that is far more good and HUMBLE than this guy. Ever since this guy started competing internationally, he never won any title.
Jeff had too much luck on teh break this match. Hitting em waaaaay too hard. No control still good outcome. Should have left the tournament and head downstairs to the casino
Luck? He’s regarded as one of the best breakers for a reason. And no control? The cue ball hit the same spot if the rail almost everytime. You must not watch a lot of him
@@LostinYTblackhole Regarded as best breaker? You gotta be kidding me.. By who?? Hardest and wildest maybe. He just slams em 110% with no possible control and just hoping for shape on the lowest ball. Is that the best break? No! Just pure luck.
@@barrywhite5502 Lol. Choir knows a thing or two.. trust me. Jeff knows he likes to hit em too hard just to show what he can do. 100 times he has been commented on by people who know what they are talking about. He just overdoes it.. plain and simple. Might work in a match or two. But most of the time you will end up losing more matches than you win. Why you think all the champions just break at 60% of their capability.. CONTROL ;) no jumping up in the air and putting your entire weight into it. Nowadays you dont need that much power.
Jeff de Luna has the spiciest break in pool. Everyone talks about SVB and his monstrous break but come on, this guy is a legend of the break
that's the most one sided match i have ever seen. not one straight forward easy shot for Alex. great effort by Jeffrey! thanks for the upload! 😊

The first time he went to the us, he won a couple of tournaments.

Awesome thanks matchroom for the nice video

not really, mistakes should be punished
How many racks did De Luna run in row?? 8? 9?
Alex never had a potable shot and didn't pot a ball the entire match. Pool can be so unfair.
His nickname The Bull is very fitting.
He only had one look at the 3 ball and dogged it early on

Congratulations, katukayong De Luna!
De Luna is the best break👏🏻👏🏻
Napaka consistent ng break ni de luna..parang ayaw nang maglaro ni pagulayan dito...
Puro pa scratch ball kapag tumitira si pagulayan kaya balik na sya ngayon sa pinas hehe
Congrats Bull, great set well deserved good rolls.
De Luna is the best👍
ALEX PAGULAYAN..GOOD JOB, YOU COOK THE GAME.! 😂🤣😁
I hope they will set a rematch. Money game with shot clock 45 or 60secs, my money is with alex ☺️😉
De Luna vs bustamante break which is more powerful break 🤔
Bustamante has a lot of controls while jeff in the last world cup of pool they got choked because of his break the cue ball jumps in outside the table
I just dig de Luna's Robert Downey Jr. "Back to School" Spike-up doo. totally cool.
Kidal pasti bnyk kelebihan
I like Jeffrey de luna's motivations....
Actualy alex like a ip man
That's exactly what I told my brother. 🤣
