possible tip for puzzling when you have a curious toddler: they make puzzle mats that you can work your puzzle on, then when you need to store it or protect it, you just roll up the mat!
I think this would be great!! Plus getting her her own puzzle (age appropriate they make a ton of cute puzzles for toddlers) she can do along side her mamma!! Although this might work better for slightly older kids 🤔
I hope you have a fun fall with your daughter. My daughter turns two in November and it is so fun watching her notice and enjoy things as she grows. Someone in our neighborhood has a giant blow up dinosaur holding a pumpkin and her face is just pure amazement when she sees it. lol
Your fall is all about your senses... Cozy, soft fabrics, beautiful scents, tasty coffee, and visual enticement. A great way to indulge in the best season! 🍁
timestamps: 2:09 candles 6:05 books 8:28 puzzles 13:29 fragrances 17:01 coffee 17:52 clothes well, i don't think i can be much of an inspiration, because the only books i'm reading are true crime books 😂 except for red, white and royal blue. i'm reading this book since july, i'm so slow 😆
I would love to hear more about maintaining your hobbies as a parent to a toddler. I have a 1 1/2 year old and this is something I struggle with so much! Love all the cozy content lately!
I enjoy your spooky book recs. Haunted house stories are my favorite too. I read “the deep” because you recommended it and I enjoyed that one a lot. Thanks for being cool.
Just so you know: I’m 25 years old now and I’m been watching you since I was 12 (because I always loved your style). And for the record I’m from Brazil, which means I learned English because of you. Next year I’m going to Canada, and I feel ready to talk and starting conversation!!!! So thank you 🖤
From Below is my fav Darcy Coates novel. It was so spooky and I love a good water horror book. For the puzzling, I have two kids, and I just bought this puzzle tray off of Amazon that has drawers and edges and fits 1000 piece puzzles. It slides right under my couch for when I’m not using it. 10/10 recommend for puzzling with toddlers! 💚💚
This is going to sound terrible but I have not watched your channel since I was deep in my Tumblr days and I just watched this video and it feels like seeing an old friend. Despite so much happening in the years in-between you are still such a comforting, honest, funny soul. Thank you ❤
the lace shirt is so cute! I love how all the clothing items were black because same and brown sugar flavor or even a pump of vanilla and a pump of honey is so good in coffee, especially with oatmilk 🤎
I'm loving the fall/halloween content sooooo much!!!! please give us more!!!!! (I've said this on your last video but I'm obsessed with your hair lately it looks so shiny and soft and the color and cut are absolutely perfect)
Have you thought about using a puzzle mat? It just rolls out on the table you are using and when you have to stop for awhile, you roll it up, puzzle and all, and it's ready to go back to where you were next time! Really handy for those bigger 500-1000 piece puzzles.
I like that you came back to this chanel. I miss those videos were you would show us your food... stuff? recieps, what you eat and things like that. It came me ideas to try new things. I hope you do one of those one day. Either way, love this chanel.
Your video came up in my for you page and I am obsessed with you! So happy I found you I love your aesthetic. I love your vibe. I love your style, so happy I found you during the fall time too!
Thank you for sharing the good, Sarah! The notes for the Longlegs candles are very fitting with the movie. I love it! Right now, I’ve been enjoying Dark Chocolate roast coffee. I’m reading Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk, and I’m considering re-reading This Thing Between Us for fall. :)
Loved this video! Darcy Coates is so good! I’m excited for you to read her stuff. I really liked The Haunting of Ashburn House! There were some parts in that book where I was actually super tense and kinda scared 😂 that never happens when I read books. I also love puzzles so much. I always have. But I didn’t know they made those little mini piece ones! So thank you for sharing because I definitely want to get some. And I need those HP ones too! I have a 1000 piece Halloween scene one for this fall that has a spooky house, tree, candles, jack o lanterns, spiders, bats, full moon, etc. All the best things! I’m super excited to do that one! I’ve never heard of those candle companies but I will check them out. Fall candles are an absolute must. I’ve been loving Confectionary Soap Co for fall and Halloween candles for the past two years. 🥰🖤
Me remembering nearly all the bags from the jag collection in LYXBAGS other apartment on the dimond tray.. I think i watched that video like 40 times. Purse collection goals
The black lace top is so cute! Fun haul 🩶 I'm actually reading a water horror right now! The Chamber by Will Dean, it's a little bland to start but I've been enjoying the thrilling notions that do happen eventually 😅 Happy fall Sarah!
I ended up purchasing a candle and a bookmark from October Occult using your discount code! Please tell the owner that we are so gracious for her generosity. 🖤🕯️
you’re the type of mother i aspire to be. i love your balance. 🤍 thank you for posting on this channel here and there to bring all the cozy vibes. i look forward to your content always and have for years. xx
Loved this and your other recent fall activities video! I was totally influenced by both and whilst watching made a autumn bucket list, booked a pumpkin farm trip and tractor ride for myself and toddler and purchased testers from le labo 😂Successful Sunday evening!
From below is one of my favorite books ever!! Sooo scary. Highly recommend reading it on a beach or something. Dead of winter is another great one, very gory. I honestly love all of her books, especially the ones that are not purely haunted house related
Books - I"m just finishing up Shadow of the Titanic by Andrew Wilson, and it's a fantastic look at what happened to some of the survivors of the disaster (and how tragic some of their lives turned out to be. Was not expecting to tear up at Ismay's fate). Also read The Inhabitants by Beth Castrodale last month, which is a haunted house story, so it might be right up your alley! Current scent is either London by BPAL or The Last Unicorn by BPAL. I'm a floral scent woman, especially rose and lilac, which are the main notes of those two scents, respectively. Don't drink coffee, but I am currently going strong for London fog teas, no matter who makes them! It's the perfect fall taste for me =)
I have small kids and found a solution for the puzzle issue! They have puzzle boards on Amazon that zip up and keep the puzzle in place so you can be working on a puzzle and zip it up and put it away and then pull it out when littles are in bed! It’s absolutely amazing and I’ve finally been able to do bigger puzzles again!
Darcy Coates has been on my TBR for so long but my local library only has a series of hers that doesn't interest me. This finally inspired me to check the online catalog and I put that water horror book on hold. Really excited to read that one!
I love Darcy Coates books, especially her haunted house ones! They're the epitome of cosy horror for me; really easy to read, has a good scare or two, perfect spooky atmosphere. I think The Carrow Haunt is probably my favourite but I have a soft spot for The Haunting of Ashburn House because it was the first one I read by her. I think some of her books can be misses but generally I've had a good time reading them!
Omg I miss puzzles so much (I have a 3 year old). I also love 1000 piece puzzles and it is a good idea to try a smaller one. I have a closet full waiting for the day he will allow a big puzzle!
I could totally see you having fun with the indie perfume world! I collect indie scents and it’s so much fun. There’s a subreddit called “indie makeup and more” and people review houses, scents, etc and there’s a ton of info. But imo the coolest brands are Hexennacht, Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab, Death and Floral, Alkemia, Poesie,.,ahhh there are so many! The scents are so much fun too..I have one that smells like baby doll heads, an IT themed one that smells like a cold carnival and balloons, or one that smells like incense and Santa Cruz beach boardwalk (lost boys of course). You can even find scents like motor oil, grass, or petrichor (the world after freshly fallen rain).
I loved this 🥹❤️ I’m obsessed with those tiny puzzles! I am also flabbergasted by the prizes at the thrift these days :o I am so intrigued by your book recommendations, I’ve never been a horror reader, but I think I might need to try!!! Thanks for sharing, Sarah ❤️
love the video 🖤🐈⬛🎃 i just went to barnes and noble yesterday, and i couldn’t believe how good their halloween section was. they had WAYYY too much cute stuff, puzzles, candles, books, games, stationery. i wanted it all, and all of the kids stuff was adorable as well 😭
Omg I love Darcy Coates! I can't wait to hear your thoughts on her,I like her version of horror writing because it's not too much,it's creepy sure and some scenes are pretty scary but if you're looking for an almost calm/ cozy approach to horror I would definitely recommend
Maybe you could look into those puzzle tables that you can fold up the leaves on to cover the pieces when youre not working on it - could be a good way to get the challange of the larger puzzles without having risk of it being messed with when its not the task in use?
I found thee PERFECT fall candle at B&BW its called sunrise woods and it smells so beautiful to me. I HATE 99.9% of fall scented candles cus they’re too apple-y or pumpkin-y but this one smells like a bonfire with a breeze it smells sweet & woodsy i wish they had it as a cologne or body spray i’d get it 😂❤
what do you do with your puzzles once you're done? I use puzzle glue on the front and back (and depending on the puzzle I sprinkle glitter on the front too when the glue is still wet. (I hang them up as art) you may want to try one of those roll-up puzzle mats for puzzles that take longer than one sitting. 😊
ahhhh this put me right in the fall mood. I recently read The book accidents which I loved. Currently reading The invocations by Krystal Sutherland and it's so good!!!
if we only have 1 season to romanticize, it's definitely FALL! i got on the book tok train and bought the pumpkin spice cafe book lol...we'll see how it really is. currently 2 out of 4 books are out..i bought the other 2 on pre-order on kindle
aww my li'l black super floof Princess Penny Dreadful does the same thing... she always "cleans" me like I'm just another kitty cat .. sometimes she gets quite insistent 😹 she also loves to make camera appearances lol
I love watching the diy videos this year using "trash" or if you have extra craft supplies to make new halloween decor. I'm not big on buying this year, I see cuteness but I have so much in my vintage style collection I don't need more. For halloween or spooky perfume all year I love SickWix, and for melts and perfume oil I go with WickWish. I got my fall scented candles from Aldi for $4.49 this year,.
When I was a teen I used to loooove extra sweet candles and fragrances (like Love Spell) but now I have the same taste as you! I love fresh and woody smells, the sweet ones make me feel sick
I think that is such a healthy approach to parenthood! "I will not quit my hobbies, just modify them" 🖤
thank you for coming back to this channel to give us all of the fall content 🍂
I couldn’t let you guys down!
TRULY!
you proudly showing 3 thrifted black t shirts is so relatable.
possible tip for puzzling when you have a curious toddler: they make puzzle mats that you can work your puzzle on, then when you need to store it or protect it, you just roll up the mat!
I bought one of these for this reason exactly (mama of 2.5 year old)! It works!
Just about to comment this! They're so handy when you have tiny hands around 😂
I think this would be great!! Plus getting her her own puzzle (age appropriate they make a ton of cute puzzles for toddlers) she can do along side her mamma!!
Although this might work better for slightly older kids 🤔
yesss we need Sarah Hawkinson fall & Halloween content 🧡🖤👻🎃
When the Queen of Halloween posts on this channel, you know fall has arrived 🍁❤️
Who knew puzzles would become popular again with the younger generations! What a great way to slow down and take break from social media & news.
“The girl’s look great in this” YES THEY DO.
I hope you have a fun fall with your daughter. My daughter turns two in November and it is so fun watching her notice and enjoy things as she grows. Someone in our neighborhood has a giant blow up dinosaur holding a pumpkin and her face is just pure amazement when she sees it. lol
thank god! the vibes for the day have been saved 😌🍂
🙌🍂✨
Your fall is all about your senses... Cozy, soft fabrics, beautiful scents, tasty coffee, and visual enticement. A great way to indulge in the best season! 🍁
i know you’re a busy mommy but a cooking video for fall would be impeccable. Soups, pastas, drinks! that would be so cozy 🧡

Thank you! Just used these to update the description box 🙌
That black lace shirt is so pretty on you. Great finds.
A puzzle mat might be a good option for you! You can do the puzzle on the mat and then roll it up when not in use.
The way she's biting you while you're talking about being cozy 😂
I would love to hear more about maintaining your hobbies as a parent to a toddler. I have a 1 1/2 year old and this is something I struggle with so much!

It feels like 2017 all over again 🖤💭

Sarah! Thank you for inspiring me to decorate my toddler's room for Halloween I'm so excited I finally have a reason to buy Halloween cutesy decor
I LOVE Darcy Coates. Hunted is one of my favs. Not really a haunted house book but definitely something I’d recommend.
I love these types of videos from you! All the cozy vibes
Loved your happy mood in this video, it made me smile! Thank you!
watching this in between my two college classes today, definitely a mood pick-me-up😌🥰

we need a Fall Lookbook, been missing styling Sarah time.

I've been really into diamond painting the last couple of months and I got a few spooking ones to do during October 🎃💕💕
Missed you on the TH-cam! Currently listening to Wheel of time series ^_^
Have you tried a candle warmer? Game changer for all my candles, improves the scent throw and I get 3x the “burning time”
Intercepts is my most favorite book that I've read in a long time!
Maybe you could look into those puzzle tables that you can fold up the leaves on to cover the pieces when youre not working on it - could be a good way to get the challange of the larger puzzles without having risk of it being messed with when its not the task in use?
I'm a huge fan of The Ritual movie and just read the book a few months ago, so good!
Intercepts was such a fun read! Very creepy and gives like early 2000s sci-fi/horror vibes.
Love all the clothes on You and everything else you bought 👻
