Aww man! This video was from this weekend! This is the one weekend I wasn’t there!!! I otherwise would have been one of the dashing people in red right here! 8:43 😭😭 can’t believe it was the one weekend I didn’t get to participate.
@@AdventurezwithDavid I hope so too! Working here has made my otherwise really shitty year turn amazing. And being in a faire based TH-cam video that I find would make this even higher on my list of great things I’ve gotten to do because of it.
Awesome Man i’ve never been to a Renaissance fair or a medieval times but that is the life I truly believe in my soul, I belong there in that timeframe and in the Civil War
I haven't been to the Renaissance Pleasure Faire since it move to Irwindale. Devore was the last time I went. The whole set up was around a very large pond and you were away from civilization, immersed in that time period. I just can't bring myself to go to the Sante Fe Dam. I may try to go to the one near Eastvale. I think it's the Kronenburg one. It's smaller but I hear it's more immersive. Cool video, David! 😀
After watching the intro of this video I had to immediately correct you for your misinformation. I noticed that @megamewx already beat me to it. This Ren Faire is the oldest and the first US Ren Faire but not the largest or even second largest. It is actually in a 3 way tie for 5th place along with Arizona, and Pennsylvania. In 4th place is Maryland, 3rd place is Minnesota, 2nd place is Bristol, and 1st place is of course, Texas where everything is bigger. Now even though the rankings are based on the amount of attendees each year, the Texas one is without doubt physically the largest as far as acreage, shops and employees.
@@AdventurezwithDavid Sherwood Forest Faire is amazing as well and only ~15 years old, and had 166k people this year, vs Irwindale's ~220k. Highly recommend it and TRF for sure.
