😢😮 -- Amazing pop histry . info from this excelent interview : Im 77 , & lived thro this great early 60s pop era : I remember all th Brit recods playd (badly) on Radio Luxmburg. I bought a few # (- limited poket money), - bougt Love & Fury , then a T-s E P then 'Robot' ~ Feb 63. So all this was going on in th back ground . # Im a Moody Guy - Shane Fenton & Th Fentones; Wild Wind - John Leyton. But 'ive pikd up loads later at jumbl sales etc. Th Breez & I was big doubl sided hit 4 Th Shadows - Spring 63, I hav Santo & Johnnys version on C d, Then Th Beatles & emerging Liv pool grps almost took over th Uk charts. I Never bougt a Billy Fury record till long after this era : 'Maybe Tomorrow' - his 1st releas I think,- 1959 - a superb song with oboe in th backing. He was from L pool , became v popular (girls screamd) but I think Decca used him , & others as a cash cow! Th late Bill Kenwright spoke highly of him😊
