Celebrating Diwali

Me and my friends celebrate Diwali by dressing up and eating food. Not the typical Diwali celebration but we had to do something to celebrate.
I also get a new vacuum from my parents!! and throw up a couple times. :(...

@owenrose3674 Diwali is based on the the celebration of Lord Ram returning to Ayodhya which is in the Northern part of India. In the Southern part of India they say Lord Rama. There are also people in the Sikh religion that celebrate Diwali in their own version. If you are interested in learning more about the life of Lord Ram or if you prefer Lord Rama you can read the book the Ramayana. There are different versions of it but the basics are the same. The life of Lord Krishna comes after Lord Rama. The life of Lord Krishna is in the Srimad Bhagavatam Purana. They are avatars which means manifestations of God. In Christianity Lord Jesus Christ can also be called an avatar of God.
