Ulanbutong in Inner Mongolia, a filming location for Chinese movies, is a Mongolian word meaning ‘grassland on a plateau’, and is the place where Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty fought a battle with Mongolia. This place is located on a plateau with an average altitude of 1,500m, making it a great place to visit to escape the summer heat.
And in Ulanbutong, which is made up of flat land, the sunrise and sunset feel different, and the cool, open location makes it a great place to see the stars in the night sky.
I left the Ger where I stayed for a night and took a walk around the neighborhood. The peaceful nature and horses were impressive.

The horses seem to walk in a strange way. Do they have some kind of strap on their front legs?

Yes, if you look closely at the horses running, you will see that the horses move their front feet at the same time unnaturally, and their front feet are tied.
