it's not unfortunate bro, it's a good thing. most people won't make it because they quit before they gave it a their all. getting great at anything takes years.
@@internxtional_ thats so true, ive been making beats as a hobby for 6 years basically everyday, and i just recently started taking it seriously, and im soooo grateful that i took the time through the years to become better
No, get addicted to creating. Do it because you actually have a passion, not for money. Too many people in the music industry today that only care about numbers.
See I always see comments like this but I feel like at some point you do "have to do it for money." Of course I agree with your statement but me personally, I just feel like producers should find ways to make money once their beats are good enough.
Who are really you to come with such a comprehensive framework over such a long period of people's lives? You've got 6.75k followers on the tube and can't even make a tutorial video without getting plosive bangs on the microphone... That def doesn't give y'all much credibility as producers, even if I haven't even heard your beats. I'm guessing it's very subpar mediocre trap beats that sounds like "everyone" else's nowadays that is just used by totally rando mumble rappers looking for cheap beats online for their weak ass punch in "rhymes"... You could have something more to come with, but it's maybe even because you're using a condenser mic that you're usually using for recording instruments. I'm not sure if that is dynamic or not, but it doesn't look pro sitting holding a such type of mic either... I'm not so sure going for quantity over quality is what's going to get someone to the top spot, and also not taking any breaks, because it could cause a build-up of strainedness that rather doesn't make you more productive in the long-run. Like you've more made a framework on how to get burnt out, especially if juggling that with other things like work and other activities, trying to squeeze in a beat every single day, in your spartanic monk program... I've just started making beats, and it's important like with any crafts or artform to develop patience as well, not getting "busy lazy" and "wanting to finish off lazy" skipping quality just to get finished before bed-time, something you can get very stoked about... But in the end the result is much worse than if you had just taken the time...

If you are in music because of money, you wont last long.

@@wayvbeats Your beats lack the heart, so maybe you have the skill, But you lack the passion and burn. Your mom looked disapointed btw.
@officialjonpaul I totally agree with you! I just wanted to say that if the focus is money, there are better careers that music, sadly.
