just for the future. if your ever in a situation like you were today with the water. find a store employee and ask them if they have any extra in the back
every single store in florida is out of water, even in the back. the stores get water shipments every hour and the shelves clear in seconds.

There are usually a couple pretty major hurricanes a year in Florida. Maybe not a cat 4 but though. I lived through a cat 5 in New Orleans so I'll be praying for them. It was very scary.

Just a little tip, whenever your power is out during a storm, use a generator! Recently, there was a blizzard in New York and my stepdad got a generator from our usual camping trips just in case our power is out, the house would run a generator until it comes back on!

In the Philippines, we get to have around 20 typhoons a years. And lucky us if that storm is not a cyclone or hurricane. The last devastating cyclone was recorded to be one of the strongest, even stronger than Katrina and it wiped out an entire province and bodies have been lying there for almost a week (Anderson Cooper was there to cover) before picked up since communication and help can't easily pass through due to cut lines and blocked roads. I hope no country will ever get to experience that. I hope you will be safe and other countries too who are facing such weather forecast. ☺

Naga Cebu has to be one of the luckiest when it comes to typhoons. We get heavy rain and wind and a little flooding but other than that, were safe most of the time
Maybe the worst Aklan, where I live, had experienced was back in 2009, Typhoon Ondoy. It left inches of mud. It was difficult to remove esp when it dried up good thing MMDA from Manila flew in to Aklan and helped. However, until now some water pipelines are still not 100% fixed. We in our town save water in big buckets because sometimes the water is just not flowing. There are days that youre lucky because you saved water to be able to take a bath. lol. its nice to know youre a filipina jacksonista too. Cebu is beautiful. ❤
