I feel so bad when Mme Blanc takes Olga's hand to calm her down. She pretends to be kind, but at this moment she's already casting the curse that will break Olga's body.
I don't think it was Blanc. Blanc wanted to return the Coven to its pure form, one where sacrifice is a completely voluntary choice. That's why she was spared by Mother Suspiriorim. When Olga calls them "witches," Blanc has a frightened and concerned look on her face, while the other witch is laughing mockingly. Blanc was at odds with these types of witch, and there were others too that followers her, like the other matriarch who committed suicide.
@@bentooreo9849 The way I saw it, Blanc was evil. She may seem loving or motherly at times but it's just manipulation. It went further than they intended because of Suzie's hidden power but Blanc still wanted to hurt Olga. She was also the one who manifested the holes in the ground that ended up breaking Sara's leg. At the end, Suzie asks the girls that suffered what they wish for, and they all wish for the solace of death, which Suzie grants but she doesn't offer this kindness to Blanc, leaving her alive and half-decapitated, possibly as punishment for the pain she so unfeelingly dished out.
