"Brahmanda" is an ancient Sanskrit word for the Universe, it means "The Great EGG"! "Aham Brahmasmi" - It's I which was, is, and will be, and all that's seen and not seen; Liberation is when Atman (I, the Soul) realize it's indistinction or oneness with the Brahman (the Ultimate Supersoul) - Adi Shankaracharya (8th century India) based on Vedic texts. Also, the concept of Karma, and taking birth, again and again, has been there in India and it's theological schools since time immemorial.
ILLUSION The premise of The Egg is absurd. Which came first, existence or the Egg? Why did the Egg cross the road? [1:17] A man killed in a car accident, "And who are you?" The man is physically "dead" as defined by western science. [1:22] A seemingly incarnate female human, "I'm God." It is noteworthy that she did not say, "Only I am God." If she is "God", an ambiguous and thus meaningless term like Orwellian doublespeak political talk, then everyone and everything in existence is equally "God". She makes a claim without any proof of claim, and the fact remains that the invisible, ineffable, inexplicable cannot be explained in words. Ask Giordano Bruno, "What is God?", and see where his answer led him. Those who speak don't know, and those who know don't speak.

My day kinda ruined because of me
Would be an awkward conversation if u happen to not believe in god...
I'm not really understanding what the symbolism behind the crane is...but wonderful film! Your cast is superb. More views for this interp. of The Egg!
the cranes represent each of the times the man was "reincarnated" in which she had to create each crane every time he died.
I posit it is not a crane but a paper stork
