Also for anyone with an x drive 340i f30 frantically searching for a set up i have apex arc 8 18x9 et30 squared set up with a yoks 255/45 all season and paired with a good alignment and Dinan springs it’s super not harsh unless there are major things in the road at high speeds and the fitment is super mint very comfy for daily while adding performance and deleting body roll pretty well the rear wheels do look slightly cambered if your are far back but it won’t unevenly wear your tires. in my opinion it’s perfect but ask kern if ur stressed or don’t want that for ur car he was a blessing for my set up!
Et 30 is the perfect setup for our F30 18x9.5 et30 sits perfectly for the fronts & et 35 fits the rear. You could also run an Et30 on the rear with some 255/45/18 tires square setup.

Any suggestions for m340i (rwd) tire setup, Mexico runs often so looking to fit the biggest tire on rear without rubbing, which is tough on these cars don’t want rubbing. My front tire is slightly rubbing against coils on a full turn first time this has happened currently on 18”rpf1 18x9 all around. 230front/265rear. Quick answer for a quick question I would love to put 19 inch rims on the front and 20” on the rear of my M440ix 2022 basically M4 rims of my year and make 275/35ZR/19 and 285/30ZR/20 I was told by the dealership mechanics parts department manager that they would put strain on my transfer box but the year of my car is actually the same year they have the all wheel competition M4 what’s a man to do because I pretty much just just want my M440 to look like an M4
Wouldn’t drop to a 25 in the rear, keep the same size tires you mentioned it’s only a .4% difference in height from front to back so those sizes will work.

U have to get wider wheels. U can run up to 255 in the front and 295 in the back. I ordered a tire wheel package with 20x9 245/35/20 in the front and 20x10.5 285/30/20 in the rear. Ive done my due dilligence and these wont cause any issues with x drive. I think they will arrive this week very excited. I have 2017 540iX

For my fellow F2x owners, I'd like to sell yall on going up in diameter. Our cars come on 225/40/18 stock (and 245/35/18 rear if staggered) but I've only had positive experiences going up to 245/40/18 square. My M240i rides a little better now and has survived a few potholes that would've blown out a rear tire before. 235/40/18 is a little easier for fitment, and I have had issues with tire contacting fender when turning into driveways, but the right offset or springs could amend that.
@@kern417 @porschelover04 Would the increase in diameter from a 245/35/R18 (630mm diameter) to a 245/40/R18 (653mm diameter) not setoff the DSC light or intervene with the BMW's computers? For context the front will still be a 225/40/R18 (638 diameter). So the diameter difference between the front and new rear tyre will be 15mm (+2.4%), and the new and old rear tyre will be 23mm (+3.6%). Are these difference %'s within a pre-set system tolerance?
