Do you know whether the original parts of the Palace currently in public ownership or are they private houses, etc? 'Seems like a peaceful corner (apart from the approaches to Heathrow, of course)! On the latter point, how do those able to afford large houses in this area manage the aircraft noise (triple-glazing, perhaps, or maybe they just put up with it)?
