that area near the pool is concession stand. You can set it up and serve hotdogs, bar...ect. All you need is a imagination
It’s hard to say with the pricing maybe there’s some issues, I know for sure the whole house needs a lot of updates from the floors and more overall it has potential to be a great home
Yea but all the issues it has are only cosmetic, the big stuff has been done already, roof, hvac the things that need updating are things you can take your time with and it’s a lot of sqft and acreage for under 600k

For me, it's the structural issues that would be a deal breaker: Master entry is only at the foyer and no full bath access for secondary bedrooms. Only a half bath. But the home is sold and I'm sure the current owners have no issues that they couldn't work out.
This house in Chicago is easily 2 million

Is that type of place that people have land, but no idea about what they are doing. Who ever buy this will need to do a lot of changes to this massive space make sense as a home.

Those rooms that they're saying are bedrooms without closets should not be considered bedrooms on the listing The price should be dropped because those are not bedrooms.
You’re right they shouldn’t be listed as bedrooms but even with them not being bedrooms but they aren’t going to drop the price because of the comps and over all size

That's a nice house! Needs some updates, but plenty of potential. As expensive as the market is, this one here is a great deal! That's like $66 and change per square foot. I'm curious about the school district though.

Large nice house; price needs to be 499 instead of 599 because it probably will cost $300,000 to renovate (or more). Every room and flooring and landscaping and pool.must be touched. Oh well, thanks for showing us.

I can see new tiles, LVP flooring and paint. Some recessed lights. It's a nice canvas to start with. But 9000 SQ feet is a whole lot. Half that would be more than enough for me. Nice place though.

Fred this house is really dated, a lot of the flooring would have to be done, There is truly a lot of space Kitchen and bathrooms, would have to be redone., You would have to spend 100,000 or more to possibly bring this structure up to date, then there work that needs to be done out side in the yard, removing, old play structure. Next what is travel distance from Atlanta to Covington?

That kitchen is dated, the floors don't match, the price of 😊$599999 is the price of a newly built home in the same area. This house is just okay to many rooms that are dated and confusion lay out.

People want to live close to civilization. They are tired of food deserts. People don’t like having to drive so far to get to a farmers market. With all of the land you’d think that they would build additional farmers markets closer to where people are actually living. They continue to build unnecessary establishment instead of what people actually need. They are behind the times that far south. Some people plant gardens but not everyone does. They don’t want these places to grow so they don’t build what’s necessary. They want to go back in time & that’s a shame.
There’s a whole shopping center 15 minutes down the street
@@FrederickMitchellJR I am extremely strict about what I eat lots of people are now. Farmers markets are necessary. Also, I have rental property in the Mcdonough, Georgia area where Ola High School is one of the best schools in the district. People want access to hospitals, fine eateries, & much much more. They talk about it at the local Mexican restaurants & bars. There never is diversity in restaurants that far south. Lots of people have moved to Georgia from other places and they don’t want the same food. They want access to gyms, massage parlors, hair salons, etc. Southern Georgia needs to change with the times.
Covington is too far away from major job centers in metro Atlanta unless you don't mind a 90 minute to two hour one way commute each day. The only plus to this location is it is not that far from Lake Oconee.
It takes me 40 minutes to get to downtown Atlanta from Covington
