The fan is super. The design is comfortable, the engine is reliable, and it works quietly

So what would happen if "live" cable connected to both L1 & L2 terminals and N to natural? will it run on full speed or it will damage the fan?

If this video is advice for the EU / English where colour coding of the N(blue)/ E (green and yellow)/ L (brown) is standardised, then it's wrongly instructing me to wire my blue to live and brown to neutral!

james jeffery it depends on where you are in the world
if you type international wiring colour codes you will see it in wikipedia
if your in usa power is black neutral is white/silver

did you ever get a response? I'm having the exact issue - to confuse everything more the video does show him putting the blue wire in the neutral N connector. The video cuts before re-appearing with the wires re-wired and completely switched so what was previously blue neutral is now the base or live. Madness. How?

Thanks, if you get the chance over the next few days that would really help with my ongoing campaign of 'not setting fire to my house, family and or me!'
Your post reminded me of when I was testing if an old 600W bulb still worked or not. Being stood just inches from the bulb, I flicked the switch thinking "maybe this wasn't the healthiest place for a face? Hmmm. Least of all mine!

Again its uncanny - climbed down from the loft last night after mooching around but definitely not rewiring or shit like that. Now, every time I switch my bedroom light on it blows all upstairs lights and every kitchen socket! WTF! all this while shuffling around on my arse.
