- The child in this video is Autistic and in the presence of fursuiters, it stimulated a response that the parents never saw before. I captured this live on camera and thought I should share it with you all. THIS is why I personally fursuit! I adjusted to audio to reduce wind and make it easier to hear the parents reactions.

I think people are starting to see this side of suiters more and more now. I teared up seeing that big smile on that child's face. As a fellow fur and suiter myself it's these moments I live for. Thank you guys for posting such a sweet video

This is so cute. I really don't understand why there's so much hate for furries and people with autism. This video was so sweet and brought tears to my eyes.

And then there is that rumor about that autism can be cured by lots of antidepressants and other pills like that. It is fake information, autism can´t be cured. Maybe in future, but not in this century.

I have autism and I remember when I saw a Disney mascot at Disney world and I loved the mascots and when I started seeing fursuit vids like this I was inspired thanks for making the vid

Goat Up You can search literally anything on pornhub and a video will pop up. That doesn't mean the porn is all there is. Only a very small percentage of furries participate in sexual activities in suits. The vast majority just see it as a hobby.

When I was mascotting for three years at Powerplay I've had kids with autism react similar. One thing that made them happy is when I would ride Tilt A Whirl, the rollercoaster, and carousel with them. With me having autism myself it kinda helps me connect with some of these adults and kids with special needs.
That’s so sweet! =) As someone diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome (who you could likely consider being a furry), this brought me joy. I would love to do and/or witness that kind of thing! Any kid deserves to be a happy kiddo. =)

Any haters who read this comment seriously why did you come here and search up "furry" or anything related to this video, just to comment hateful things seriously go away let them be, its what makes them happy or for anybody else, I mean its not hurting you, so just leave and leave these people alone.
Speaking as an autistic person, fursuits are a LOT less intimidating to interact with; there's so damn much to pay attention to and worry about with humans(human eye contact is EXTREMELY uncomfortable but animal and fursuit eye contact is pretty bearable and sometimes even enjoyable; I won't break eye contact with my cats for hours but I can't meet my bf's eyes for seconds), but a lot of autistics actually have hyperempathy and we get super fond of our plushes and animals and stuff, so it's actually super reasonable for us(especially when we're wee little and have only encountered humans and animals, then suddenly these giant plush animals are surrounding us) to gravitate towards fursuits; a lot of them are very non-threatening and an absolute marvel. Fursuits are just a lot easier to interact with for us than actual people.
Also, his parents are pretty great too; no person first language, dad looks appropriately worried approaching(some of us can get super freaked out by this sort of thing) but neither of them grab him or touch him unnecessarily(which a lot of parents of autistic kids tend to do which can freak us out), they seem really happy /for/ him which is really nice.
This is one of the most wholesome videos I've had the pleasure of watching and I'm really glad this kid got to have this experience.
This video is living proof that furries are no less humans like everyone else yet they're still made fun of.

such a fantastic and beautiful video! this is what fursuiting is all about! I joined the furry fandom because of kids and how sad I seen kids in hospitals dealing with problems they don't fully understand. and I wanted to get a fursuit and go to hospitals to cheer up kids, but I sadly don't have a suit yet but I hope to have one soon. I respect fursuiters for this stuff, it's amazing. I have autism and it sucks so seeing this makes me happy like those kids. Great job you guys!

If that were me when I was a toddler, I'd most likely have the same reaction, mainly not knowing what to do, as I do myself have Autism. I love the furry community for being so open and because to quote Cruella De Vil "I live for fur, I worship furs", and it's true as I live in a bed full of fluffy blankets it's so comfortable so as well as the fursona's and such I also love the fursuits as they're so fluffy!

not sure why autism is an insult. i had a kid in my class who was autistic but was extremely smart and loved snakes. i had another autistic kid in 2nd grade who was a quintuplet. a lot of child prodigies have autism, too.

Sometimes kids get scared of people in animal costumes, whether it's a furry, a mascot or a character a Disney land. Nothing wrong with that. I was never scared of people in costumes as a kid because deep down I knew that they were just people in costume and there wasn't really anything to be afraid of. If I was around the old Mickey costumes, I would probably have soiled myself because those are terrifying demons of hell to me now and I'm 20.

I'll have you know I have a brother who's autistic *he's 6* and he absolutely loves to see people in costumes! I own 2 fursuits *one of my really cute character and one of my more scary one* and he loves them both! And that's why I make fursuits, to bring smiles to people faces
