Have a family member in acting school in Dublin and Colin Farrell visits once or twice a year to gave advice and usually spends a whole day with the students there, other actors/actresses do the same too. Colin is a really nice guy, very genuine.
Most actors with a checkered past respond "in not here to talk about that" when asked about it in interviews. Farrell never seems to have problems speaking about his struggles. A ridiculous amount of charm and honesty.

This is a low-mo interview with hypnotic qualities in the interviewee. Shepard does a fine job and Holly bubbles like a femme (A.K.A. senseful world). Saving Mr.Banks is a tear jerker and a great movie -- stellar cast whom all play their roles with aplomb.
He must be a nightmare to interview. I mean, he actually has a LOT of insightful and intelligent things to say... but the whole time you're just staring dazedly at him and trying not to giggle if he smirks at you.
True story: I was working in a nursing home in Dublin about 16 years ago and apparently Colin walked past me and said "Alright" to which I replied "Alright" ... I honestly hadn't a clue who he was until a work mate told me, lol, I'm well aware of who he is now 😆
I’d love to see Colin Farrell and Cillian Murphy star in a big movie together, where both could use their Irish accents. That would have the ladies swooning.
