  • Lauren Templeton is the founder and CEO of Templeton & Phillips Capital Management. Investing runs in Lauren's blood, as she is the great niece of Sir John Templeton. She reflects on their work together, as well as on the impact of her father on Lauren's journey in investing. Lauren also gives some insight into the perks of working with her husband, Scott Phillips.

    Thank you both for this wonderful interview. I'm really hoping I have the pleasure of bumping into both of you on my first trip to Omaha! I'm so excited to finally go after years of just thinking about it. A previous interview with Lauren talking about the experience with her kids is what really pushed me to finally take the leap and get out of my comfort zone and go. ❤

    I think one of the central issues in investing is to make a decision about when a certain investment is deemed a failure and the criteria that lead to a decision. Just the other day I felt like taking some chips off the table and put the money to a supposedly better use. By the evening the (larger) rest of the stock was down 30%. Time for the bomb shelter?😅
