Daria's voice is perfect for classic rock, harmonising with Violet just takes it to another level.
As for a song with a higher tone, try Kiss - I was made for loving you (done with Halocene).

SO you mentioned you are going to see Jinger. Drummer from Serchen and Zaritskya Dmitriy Kim played with them live shows. And yes, do anything with Serchen and Zaritskya they are amazing. Daria had one of the best Rock vocals male or female 🤘

Violet and Zaritskaya (two of my favorite TH-cam singers) teamed up, and did 80's hair metal (I was a toddler in the 80s watching more MTV than cartoons). My inner just child hit puberty. I'll admit the Black Velvet cover was mind blowing, but I get where you're going. They also do an epic version of Youth Gone Wild, Still of the Night, and Barracuda. They also teamed up with Halocene and fucking rocked Kickstart my Heart. I know you know which songs I'm talking about lol. Check them out. You're only doing yourself a disservice by avoiding them.
Reminds me of that line in the Alan Jackson song, "round here we like the girls who sing Soprano"

Daria is quite possibly the hottest woman on earth. No offense to Violet. You should check out Daria’s cover of AC/DC mistress for Christmas, her colab with Holocene on kiss I was made for loving you. Also the girl from iron cross is getting better and better al the time, I just can’t remember her name right now for some reason. Must be from all the partying I did in the 80s.

The drummer Sershen & Zaritskaya are working with is Dmitry Kim formerly with Jinjer. IMO Daria's voice is best doing stuff that's more aggressive. Even in Rock You Like A Hurricane with Violet she's not really where she excels. Back In Black is most Watched at 15M, Barracuda is epic, Welcome To The Jungle was used in a GTA remastered ad. Lots of great options.

I saw Whitesnake open for Motley Crue.
I may not have been alive but this song among many other classic rock songs were the sound of my child hood as that is what my dad listed to I did not start listening to other genres until high school but but this song along with all the rest will always be in my music library
I really like the tone of Violets voice. She nails that classic 80s.

I'd suggest looking at Sershen & Zartiskay's cover of Physical. It's very 80s. My other favorite covers from them are Come Together and Rebel Yell, but I don't know about music to say if they test her range the way you ask.

While I love the higher ranged vocalists, like Tarja, Floor, etc., I really appreciate Violet's alto, since I have a much easier time singing along with her.

There are 2 versions. The 1987 Album Version was with John Sykes and Adrian Vandenberg (doing the solo)....The 1982 version with Mel Galley and Micky Moody on Saints and Sinners Album...

Ever notice Whitesnake covers are better from females? I especially like it when they get Coverdale's hair right! (Really? Which one is Sith? The one with the inverted cross beauty mark maybe?)

I love watching your reactions to Violet Orlandi's songs. I think you're just obsessed with her and her voice as I am. It's funny we're about the same age, I have an 18 year old kid and I've also lived through the 80s, this was one of my favorite bands growing up and absolutely loved this song. I think they did pretty well covering it. Keep up the great reactions, I look forward to it each Sunday.

You don’t need to react to it but you do owe it to yourself to at least see their video of Black Velvet. They do it justice. If you want a video to react to, you need to react to Come Together. You will be envious of a motorcycle. If I wasn’t already lesbian, I would have been after that song.
This is ok, but I saw the original live, don't get me wrong, the girls doing a good job, but imho it is still far away from the original.
Violet is the best, of that there is no doubt. My suggestion is Sershen and Zaritskaya's cover of "Dust In The Wind".
Daria has such a low voice she rarely stretches her voice to go high like Violet did in this video. But of the songs I've listened to, imo, "Barracuda" would be the song she stretches to the upper registers. "Living on a prayer" would be my next choice.
Cool. Yep, this is my high school days. The year I graduated...yeah I'm old :) A good cover. Typically anything Violet is a part of is going to be good. Both have good voices, but I think Violet's is richer and has more depth.
Did you know Sershen and Zaritskaya's drummer is one of the old drummers from Jinjer? Dimitry Kim. He's on some of their older videos (I Speak Astronomy, Sit, Stay, Rollover, and Words of Wisdom). He's the one that stepped in before Vlad after their drummer had the accident. He couldn't commit to Jinjer's insane touring schedule so he didn't join permanently. He has done session work for them a lot. He's still currently working with Jinjer doing sound stuff. Anyway, a bit of Jinjer trivia :).

Daria is a BEAST, may be the best in classic plays. A rock raspy and powerful voice that has performed amazing covers, that you shoud review (all, but check with care "Is This Love" or "Separate Ways", please). In this performance she is the "canonical" style
EMPRESS Violet is unique, her parts in this cover reflects her own and marvellous style. She captures every song she plays!!!. More attractive than classic? Different and amazing as all of her.
Anyway, the two styles mixed here result in a awesome cover that i will put in my playlist when available in platforms.
And OSN... I understand your reactions to their contrast...😂😂😂 and yes, they have similar age, but Violet is a beauty too!!!, with a natural charm (as seen in interviws) and terribly attractive 😸
That and the white mime face versus standard beauty of Daria. I was glad she brought her normal face tone back in the Scorpions cover she and Sershen and Zaritskaya did. Both ladies are beautiful and super talented but to me Violet is prettier. Of course Violet has little thought of being pretty but she loves to be unique and stand out. She is damn good at that also.
