Love you guys...when I see your videos it is calming. I don't think my husband will be camping anymore...we did tent camping when we were young. At our age we can't sleep on the ground anymore. Love your prayers and your love for our lord. Thank you
Fire side story teller game. Start a topic and people add to the story. It can end up a really fun story. We do this when our family goes camping everyone sits in a circle around the fire and the stories can get interesting as everyone adds to it.
Have you ever thought of a portable pen for Winston when you are camping? Some people use a pop up pen and some use a collapsible one. It would give him room to play in the grass while your outside so he can burn off his energy.
My first visit to this State Park was 24 years ago in June 2000. It was cold, about 50 and it was pouring down, so we were almost the only visitors. Got back in November 2015 on s sunny day with 90 degrees. I was still almost alone but had a nice chat with a park ranger
I grew up 3 miles from Davy Crockett Birthplace park. My brother still lives there. I live on Jonesborugh now, very close to the KOA you recently stayed at. Unfortunately the pool at DCBP is permanently closed. We camped there in late March and they said they are planning a music venue of some sort for that space. It is a very nice park and for me it brings back so many childhood memories of fishing on the banks of that river.
I want to thank you both for your videos and your southern warmth. Also for sharing your faith. Myself, My Son, My Daughter in law and Granddaughter are vacationing in Gatlinburg in June. Your videos have got me through some cold Indiana days this past winter. Thank you and God bless.
We are solely local eats peeps like yoders, chik fil a, or picnic family. Maybe you could talk about family or how or why you got going on travel vlogging.
We stayed right next to where you are. We had people right beside us, behind us and to the side of us. When the campground is full that is not that great a place. too close to each other. The people who manage the place are wonderful. They even met me at the gate. wow. I am hungry for pancakes. thanks
Love the fire side chats. Our pastors wife recently passed from cancer. It was a long battle. Things like that just don’t make sense sometimes. Despite all the prayers lifted up for her with great faith she went home to be with The Lord. Maybe you could talk about how Gods plans are not always going to make sense to us. We don’t see the big picture the way He does.
That's a great park! The visitor center is very nice and they have people there in the homestead that are historians that are always ready to share some good info!
Wow. Loved this place. So quiet and peaceful. Winston was having a great time. Hey 👋 Winston. Hugs 🤗 and kisses 😘 to you. Another great one ya'll. Thanks for sharing. Have fun, be safe and God Bless.❤
What a beautiful place , like all the rustic Homestead and always love seeing Winston, he is so cute and growing up fast... always love your fire side chats and roasting marshmallows.... God Bless you Both and of course Winston too
Nice place to camp Winston is getting so big need to put him on a leash and let him run and play outside that way he will tire out stay safe God bless you all
Fast food fav would be Wendy's and Rax Roast beef. Nice campground, and love the lil blackstone griddle.Winston is a cutie although , I am wondering why Karen doesnt let him down more often to walk and play, especially while she is eating. He doesnt seem to get much puppy play time. Lots of storms rolling through Ky and Ohio this week. Much love and Safe travels from Ohio.
Maybe in a fireside chat you could tell people how to know for sure they will go to Heaven! The gospel needs to go out now more than ever because our time is so short as the world sinks into chaos!😢 Maranatha and God Bless🙏
Thank you for the comment. We have a video in our library talking about all the places we lived if you'd like to watch. We might revisit for a campfire chat sometime.
First, I give thanks to God for always allowing us to talk of him and share his thoughts about our lives. I would enjoy a discussion about Christ's life and how he lived, loved his family and worked as a carpenter. He only preached a very short time and just everything he did by touching the lives of the people all around him. I cannot even comprehend his thoughts as he grew from baby to child to a man and knew that he was the Savior of the World because of his love for us. He was pure in all thoughts and intents of his life. I blink back the tears to know of his love for me, me, and all people. He will never forsake us. Ok, I've talked too much, but hey, talking about our Savior Jesus Christ brings such joy, blessings and a feeling of being safe in his heart, arms and it is forever. I thank God for you, Karen and Mike and Winston who makes my day brighter by his love and joy for life. Always in my prayers are you carried to God, May the power of the Holy Spirit come upon you as the feeling of warm oil being poured all over us to Glorify God. All My Love, Always.
That's awesome! Make sure the driver's seat will recline enough for you while traveling. The 59k kitchen is right behind the driver. Also think about floor storage space. In the G we keep lots of stuff under the bed. Everyone seems to really like the 59 G & K models. We hope to put together a video soon showing all the gear we take on our trips and this might help also. Have fun!!

Hello 👋 ❤
Hi Skippy!
