Love the bowl with the candle. Recently, I took a large picture frame, painted it blue, used small screw eyes evenly spaced along both sides. I strung bakers twine from side to side making mini cloth lines. Using the tiny clothes pins from Dollar Tree. I clipped recent snapshots of my family on the lines. It hangs in my dining room. A fun way to display my grandkids school pics without using magnets on the fridge Lol!
I like this one too for a pop of color in a corner. I'm not a fan of artificial plants, but spray painting plastic plants could dull the surface and add to the distressed surface. The colors to use would be endless. Even a somewhat neutral moss green would give it a bit more realistic look. Even loosely looped natural twine would look great around the candle, I'll have to check out the candles at the dollar store. I loved that beautiful fresh white candle!

Now I want to find the right wooden frame and build up the sides into a tray. It would pair nicely with my family photo coasters. 💟

You bought the frames at a thrift store but everything else at full price. All the items you used, including the tools, can be found at thrift stores. Loved all the projects
I do this all the time. New frames are made in Asia. Often they aren’t even wood. You can get great frames at resale stores and distress them, paint them, or refinish them. I’ve even found some that are at least one hundred years old. They are definitely worth they expense of gold leafing. People don’t spend a lot at art fairs, don’t spend a lot on frames. Great tutorial vlog.
