Thanks I just saw your channel. Great build. My dad was on the Enterprise from June 1940 till the refit in Bremerton in 1943 and was at all the battles including the Doolittle raid and 90 days ashore at Henderson Field building a vector radio station for the Cactus Airforce and the shelling by the Japanese battleships, Midway, Solomon Islands, Guadalcanal, 1942 raids.
Avengers yes ! They look good, I'm anxiously waiting to see your final product.
Those hangar deck details are really impressive. Love the shots taken through the doors. I really like watching your problem solving process; I learn so much from that. Thanks!
Hi Ben! Great build and I enjoy your video's. You mentioned F6F Hellcats in your video. Enterprise did not receive Hellcats until November, 1943. Wildcats were on board in November of 1942.
You might want to check to see if your bulkhead walls are square vertically to the hangar deck. Its possible that the walls may be leaning outboard causing those gaps. Don't know if this is true, but there should be signs on the walls and marked areas on the deck to manage the space. For example, it would make some sense to have the area of the hangar deck in front of the ammo port marked "DO NOT BLOCK" or some other warning. But maybe here wasn't that level of marking back in 1942.
Looks great Ben. Now I’m going to have to give you more of my money. 😀
Looking good Ben, details details.
Could you imagine 1/200 scale crew members all over the interior. Let alone the deck
You should print out some pallet jacks and a forklift or two. Looking great 👍The Duchess is looking really good also.
Looks great Ben. A wing on the saw horses might be cool
Looks great Ben. Love watching your progress. You are one busy guy.
Nice work like the detail
I'm planning to build my 1/200 USS Enterprise CV-6 in June 1944
@@oliverpearson1577 I have the internet and I read a lot of books on the Pacific War
I still think all those barrels, crates, pallets, and so on are a fire hazard.
Hi Ben just wanted to no what adhesive decking are you going to put on I seen that the ka decking looks way to thin I can see that to be a very big problem Should I use the pontos set Would like to no of you to make my decision to by the ka set or the pontos set And just to let you know your knowledge on problem solving to help us out building models just what to say thanks for your great video
Great progress Ben and it’s really starting to come together! I look forward to each segment on this build as I learn a lot I can apply to my own modeling projects.
