I love it. I would like to try it. I think i have a yarn quantity to accomplish it. I love that color also. What color is it?

Hey, Tess. Glad you like the pattern! I just put a free downloadable PDF of the pattern on my website at silverriverarts.com/freebies/ . The label was missing off of the yarn that Mum had been using (it was a ginormous ball that must have weighed 2 lbs!) In truth, I probably wouldn't have chosen that yarn...it wasn't quite as soft as I'd like, especially for a throw blanket. For an inexpensive but good quality acrylic yarn, I like Caron Simply Soft--it beats Red Heart hands down. It has a pretty sheen, and is just a softer yarn with a nicer "hand" and good drape. See amzn.to/3QZ4yXK Their color "Plum Wine" looks like a pretty good dupe for the one Mum chose.

This is beautiful. Is the legacy lace shawl pattern available for purchase? Are you on Ravelry?

Hi, Chrissy. I'm so glad you like it! I'm not on Ravelry, but since you are interested in the pattern I put a free downloadable PDF of the pattern on my website at silverriverarts.com/freebies/ Feel free to drop me a note if you have any questions...there's a link on the webpage, or you can post it right here! Keep on Knitting!

I learned some trick from my left handed mother in law simply by sitting across from her and copying what she did.

Hi, Maggie! That's great. I have a good friend (a "lefty") who is interested in getting started knitting...unfortunately, we live more than a day's drive apart! I was thinking of her when I went looking for a way to "mirror" the video.
      Keep on Knitting!
