Melissa, thank you ever so much. It worked. Really appreciate your speedy response and the time to put this together. Abigail says it's the best gift ever. I travel to the States fairly frequently and I believe my cousin lectures at the same University. Small world. Really appreciate it. Thanks ever so much...🙏🏿
You are so very welcome, and I am so glad you two were able to make it work!! I hope she enjoys creating java programs - it can be frustrating in the beginning, but also incredibly exhilarating to create your own programs 😊 Best of luck in all future programing endevours!
thank you!! but i have a question i want to have an output with decimal so i decided to change int to double, my question is what is an alternative way of printing a value with a datatype of double?
After installing window builder in eclipse code autocomplete ks giving error "Problems during content assist" The 'API tools javadoc proposals' proposal computer from the 'org.eclipse.pde.api.tools.ui' plugin did not complete normally. The extension has thrown a runtime exception. To avoid this message, disable the 'org.eclipse.pde.api.tools.ui' plugin or disable the 'API tools Proposals' category on the content assist page. I have tried disabling this but still giving this error

@@MelissaDale thank you The problem is resolved by uninstalling and then reinstalling jdk again as I have two jdk installed so kept the latest one only.
I'm sorry to hear that. When you say "select wizard list", which part are you referring to? If you can give me a hint, such as a time stamp in the video, I may be able to help.
Before I start adding elements, I first click and drag a layout over to the panel. The layouts are between "Components" and "Controls". Once you add it to the panel, it is invisible until you start dragging elements on top of it. In the video, you can see me doing it at 4:35 . I hope this helps!
Excellent - straight forward and has got me started after a long break from Java
