Would love to see an open wheel race reacted to. 2019 BC39 battle between Pickens, Larson, & Grant is a good one for midget racing. Particularly the final restart and 5 final laps.
There's no way that's .002 unless the classic Darlington finish has the wrong timing. Same with the Atlanta finish earlier this year. In both the tight finishes this season, I could not tell who won, but in the old Darlington finish, I knew right away and so did the booth. They were also going slower there, which would make the margin of victory more for the same distance of separation. I wonder if it's possible to use video stamps and "retime" finishes to update them. Something tells me that the timing back in the mid 2000s wasn't as accurate as it is now.
