David, seem like everything has big and small cycle, than everything will have both Heaven and Earth stem. So what is period 9 Heaven and earth stem? if i am not mistaken period 9 heaven stem is Ding, but i cannot detect earth branch. please advice, if my way of understanding is correct.

Hi Flame, this long cycle is "in the Heavens". It is not associated with Earth, so no Earth Branch.
