    We’ve only been using chopsticks since the dawn of time...

      Thats the edit dude, check the original. Yellow skin, pony tail, and calling it a china man before the edit.

      @@tomthemantv6482 The owners of the property decided to not publish more, why cant you respect the owners of the book series? Lastly the Simpsons is a bad example as the main cast do not have slit eyes and wearing cone hats with ponytails. This is a huge racist sterotype about the Chinese. Learn the difference.

      @@ConkerTheCat but even the pony tail is not racist unless you think the chinese should be a shamed of their history. It's actually more racist to have a problem with any depiction of our physical differences because you are saying that we should all strive for the western look (yellow skin vs white skin). Are you saying that if a person does not have white skin, they should be ashamed?

    • @ConkerTheCat
      @ConkerTheCat 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Zero-tm5xk Its a race based stereo type, not all Chinese have pigtails and cone hats type thing, hell not even the outfit was of the time period it was made. Its super racist. Lastly nobody else in the book has yellow skin, Chinese people do not have yellow skin, get your bullshit outta here. Calling someone a "china man" is racist.

    • @Zero-tm5xk
      @Zero-tm5xk 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@ConkerTheCat it's not bullshit. When east asian people tan, their skin is noticably a different shade than a white man's tan. It's just an observation many make that they is a slight yellow hue to it. I'm saying it's just facts and not something to be ashamed of. Only oversensitive SJWs like you make a big deal about it. You also say drawing asians with narrow eyes is bad like only having large eyes like westerners is good. People like you are the reason people in asia have an obsession with having fair skin. To the point about the term "china man", I did not say anything about it. It's understandable, if it's seen as offensive. To the point about the clothing, it is a whimsical fantasy book meant to introduce children to images from other cultures. Do you really think they should have drawn people in drab communist peasant attire instead? Since that was the clothing at the time. What's wrong with drawing them with more colorful clothing of the past?

    It infuriates me that people are getting offended and taking down cartoons we grew up with like Bugs Bunny and friends, Tom n Jerry and now Dr.Seuss? As kids we don't become racist from these books. It is a part of our history and erasing history is wrong. My children love Bugs Bunny and friends and are upset that they can't watch it on tv. They have to watch bits and pieces on TH-cam. Dr.Seuss doesn't make us racist nor reading it makes us accept racism. Children are enjoying the various characters and it's a shame that people are taking it away.
