You should probably take apart your gameboy, my guess is your start button is hard to press because the contact under the button is corroded or dirty. Very possible a battery leak happened. Just undo a few screws and gently scrub with a cotton swab and some rubbing alcohol.
Or get a GB Boy Colour clone system. Aspect ratio is a bit off, but the backlight, built in games, and actual BUTTONS for start and select are worth it in my opinion.
Why is he even hitting start when not in the game??? You can just hit A to go through the cutscene/menu

Spagoop good luck with the battery on silver because of the clock in the game is using the save battery and Pokémon gold and silver carts have universal dead batteries
This makes those modern emulation portables that take cartridges more useful.
Sure you can load roms, but an auuthentic cartridge experience is nice to have too (even if the cartridge is literally not authentic itself)

gameboy color cant get backlit screen because of the way its made, but you can get front lit
A GB Boy Colour clone system is a worthwhile endeavor though. Backlight screen (slightly off aspect ratio), solid start and select button (no rubber crap), and usually come with built in games. Worth it. Like 35$ or something.
Frontlight is fine for me, I've got a modded gbc and love it. Just stay away from the Handheld legend frontlight kit, it' s trash, go for the kitsch-bet one instead.
There is a modded GBA AGS 101 screen to GBC adapter now so you can have a backlit GBC now. It's just a complete screen change instead of modifying an existing screen. I think it's bennvenn who did it. I can't remember. I'm in a huge gameboy collector group.

that would be illegal to sell and plus, were the fuck do they get these stickers they should use the OEM one
Ordered Pokemon Gold, it didn't work too good. But I also ordered Pokemon Blue, I hope it works. Both for like 4 bucks.

You know what really sucks about the 3ds version of these games there stuck in black and white with no way to change it aside from green and black do you know any homebrew to fix this love your videos btw
Just search "pokemon" on ebay with international option allowed and search in "Video Games" sort by "Lowest price first" and they'll be like 3-5$ for pretty much every version. Oh and yes, they trade with each other. Tested it myself.

The point is, he said on an OFFICIAL GAME. He didn’t say specifically the Gameboy as a platform, he’s referring to the main-line series LIKE the ones on the gameboy. It’s logic.

to fix your start button, you can open the gameboy and clean the carbon contacts and the board at the button or get a new button
You should check if these work with Pokemon Stadium or Stadium 2!
ultimateluigi9878, pokémon stadium is a spin-off-game for the Nintendo 64. The only relation is that you can transfer prised pokémon that have special TMs

Do they work fine? Did any if then crash or fail at any point? I've heard fake cartriges tend to fail midway trough or even sooner.
piluex2 for me, they've worked great! I've played 3+ hours without issues on a car ride, I got the 12 pack on eBay for 75$, it had 7 Gameboy color Pokemon games, and 5 Gameboy advance Pokemon games

its just a sd card type board, the game is saved on it along with a routing file to the card outputs that the gameboy receives as inputs

yep, i'd assume it's the one i had a long time ago, because i made that label, and sent it to an Aliexpress seller with the rom, assuming that they didn't update it and according to Aliexpress, this was the most up to date version in 2015-11-03, unless i had a version that was even earlier than that, in short, this guy will be very disappointed

i said that it was a seller to simplify, but it tried at least 3 different sellers because they all said that i needed to order at least 5 games, the first one, and the one i mentioned was Zhang Jacky from a store called "Pocket Games" and i got the date wrong it's actually 2015-10-21, the other date was from another conversation i had with him
Why don't you just get a GBA SP, if you said you wanted a backlit screen.it also plays all game boy games, Game boy color, and game boy advance games.

Nub Smoo Please check This Does Not Compute. GameBoy Color cannot currently be backlit due to the design of the LCD panel. It CAN be frontlit.

I got my daughter a gb colour and Pokémon yellow for less than 40$ the gb colour is a clone of the game boy color with a backlit screen. It’s actually pretty cool.

You need to get the GB Boy color on Ali. Its like the GBC but back lit :D
If they play the same, if they have better modern battery life in the cart and you can use the link cable then they are perfect.

Rijon was envisioned in Pokemon Brown since it came out way before Pokemon Prism, at the time you uploaded this video it was already 13 years old. Pokemon Prism just aded that region to the game.

Pokemon Prism is THE BEST Rom hack ever made imo. It's amazing the level of detail and polish they are able to achieve on a Crystal rom. Player customization, newer gen Pokemon, etc. It's simply stunning.

I am playing it on my gbc enulator and it is a pretty good game not going to lie.
I am buying these and giving them to my little brother. He's ecstatic. :D
