Fun fact. Soldier has been rejected from every branch of the military, so he went to Europe on his own in 1945, to kill Nazis in Poland. No one told him the war was already over.
Second fact: Scout has dog tags. Meaning he likely has been in the military. Scout has more professional military experience than soldier.
Third fact: after meet the medic released, a rare event was added. Anytime a scout gets blown to bits, there’s a 1% chance a dove will fly out of the body parts.
Also, tf2 released 10/10/07, went f2p in 6/11, and has still been active since. That is part of why tf3 hasn’t happened....oh, and the fact valve can’t count to 3.
Here's another fun fact! After Meet The Spy sniper gained a scar on his check on his model cause spy slashed him on the cheek in the trailer

ben ben unusuals don’t drop, they come from crates only. And you’re killing far more scouts than you are opening crates I’m sure

Fun Fact: Pyro isn't actually crazy. As shown in the comics, "Pyroland" is actually a metaphor for the childlike glee pyromaniacs feel setting things on fire. Once he quit being a mercenary, he managed to start his own big business, and it's shown "Pyroland" only manifests when he's around fire. He's fully aware that he's burning people alive, he just has a hell of a time doing it.
Edit: I mistakenly believed pyro completely loses his hallucinations, but he still has hallucinations, it's just that pyromania causes sunshine and rainbows to happen. He is still fairly intelligent though, showing that the hallucinations do not hinder him in any way.

I thought it was funny is that the heavy is Russian and the medic is German and they r actually working together in tf2 that is suprised...(jk)

There isn’t a need for Team Fortress 3. TF2 is already a good enough game as is, and gets updated yearly. So yeah, it’s still going strong.
"Yearly". The last big update was 2, almost 3 years ago. Valve gives us no info about any updates, Alyx is delayed again..

TF2 is actually still one of the most played games on PC. More than 50-60k players on a daily basis, which for a 13 years old game, is kind of a big score.
Most of those are idle accounts/ bots, from what I've heard. Still, a very active game.

Spy can counter any mom jokes, he literally brings evidence.
These meet the team videos are actually canon. People of Teufort ( or other places at America ) didnt like mercenary's so a group of people decided to make videos about who are they. Sniper found it annoying and others found it suspicious.

TF2 fans: Good question
Because TF2 is good as is, and updates are what we need. Creating a triquel would be a waste of storage space on our side, and a waste of development resources on Valve's side for something barely anyone asked for. It would be utterly pointless to create a triquel from the ground up when TF2 can be updated instead.

I'm not so sure about Inspirations but there is a Lore reason for Medic having so many pidgeons. Apparently he stole them all from a wedding after hijacking a Catering van at the Prime Minister's wedding.
I thought it was a reference to Nikola Tesla. Mad science and all.
The game still is popular but the reason it's not huge or mainstream is that the game is years old and the company insisted on making money instead of making games

The game still lives on. It’s almost 11 years old and there’s a lot of people playing this game. Not as much as before or not as much as later titles, but the community keeps the game alive

Tbh tf2 is still alive, we still get new players a lot and the community is nice with providing help, in 2019 it was even close to reaching its prime numbers
I was always a Pyro fan, and it was a great day when that trailer came out.

My favorite part of these reactions is people laughing at the yo mama joke and then immediately laughing even harder when they see spy brought evidence
It's an old game at this point, but I'd call it an ageless classic. I'd call a game dead when you're having trouble finding a game, but I still play this daily, it has a large fanbase and I've yet to have any trouble finding a game to join. In fact, most games are pretty full, so I don't know where this "dead" nonsense is coming from, aside from people's subjective perceptions.

-Heavy has a PhD in Russian Literature, which has a saying that the bullet is the dumbest in the battlefield
-In the TF2 universe, New Zealand was sunken due to the Sniper's father "foreseeing" a catastrophe, meaning they sunk it, he later had another prophecy, in which he demanded that they now launch NZ to space, but because they didn't have money, it wasn't done, and his dad had built a spaceship for himself to escape to orbit, but because of a fight between of both his father and mother, a baby Sniper got in it, which flooded NZ as a consequence, the rocket malfunctioned and he crashlanded near the house of said Aussie farmers
-Both the Engineer and the Medic have worked toghether in projects, one of which was the cause of the debacle of Expiration Date
-The Scout's father is the Spy, he also bought a bunch of Tom Jones' memorabilia
-The Demoman's family tradition is for descendants to be put on adoption when they're born, so that once they develop their family trait, which is making explosives, they adopt them back
-The Demoman's adoptive parents were killed when he fought the Lochness monster when he was 10
-The Soldier has the lowest IQ of them all, and subsequentially, can't read
-The Spy knows he's the Scout's father, and in the comics, as well as with interactions with Miss Pauling, the Administrator's secretary, has been shown to want to destroy any possible DNA tests that may invlve himself, like reading a book on How To Beat A DNA Test
-In the comics, the Spy confessed to Scout he was his father while disguised as Tom Jones
-The MediGun the Medic uses in that video, later became part of his loadout, but didn't have an Übercharge. Why? Because it had a short-circuit when doing so
-There's a cosmetic called the Pyrovision Goggles that let you see how they see when put on, meaning other players when they explode into pieces, they explode with confetti instead of blood, and it's gender has become a gag within the TF2 team, like how the Scout asks "He's not here, is she?"

TF2, now over 1000 days without a major update, bots are still filling servers, competitive is abandoned, MvM as well. Somehow Its not dead yet and I believe we will be getting more updates soon.

I SWEAR TF2 IS SUDDENLY GETTING POPULAR AGAIN AND I LOVE IT.
This game used to be godly in it's ages, it had amazing player base and it was total fun and free.
Every character had a loudout you could change cosmetics and stuff, absolutely not pay to win as you could buy only cosmetics with money.. lot of game modes but as do we say Valve are lazy developers who seek money, they kinda forgot about the game and when OverWatch was released the game died out completely as it is pretty much the better version of this kind of a genre.
Valve released some small updates to it after that but nothing really serious.
But still this game will have a free space in my heart as it is nothing like others, in many games today a death can lead to an instant loss, here in team fortress it was something you did not really cared about, you always played you role in your team and you enjoyed, especially playing medic and heavy which is an amazing combo and it is one of the greatest feels to be the lead push with guns blazing being invicible and just going...
And the half life alyx came
I don't know about Overwatch being a strictly better version. TF2 feels a lot more well rounded and the characters feel a lot more dynamic. The game isn't dead either, still enough people playing it.
TF2 lacks of power creep which is great, many devs does not even know about and it ruins their games, overwatch was really slow at start same as league of legends, and as they kept adding new and new playable characters the game became fast and shit thing, some heroes are basically the same thing but better versions of older characters. TF2 is consistent you know what to expect from each character and there is no need to add more, every single role is being nicely balanced.

Yeah, you're pretty late to the whole Meet the Team thing.
The game is "dead" in a sorts, a lot of the bigger community left that gave the game LIFE but in terms of actual playerbase it's quite popular still. It just doesn't have the hype and liveliness it used to have.
Team Fortress never took off because it was released 12 years ago.
