Guys in my beer league might have less conditioning and fitness but some are clearly better defenders and it's not even close. Defense in the NHL is far worse today than it was a couple decades ago. Let's not forget these defenders are juniors many of which probably should have given up their slot to a better player who has chosen a different life path. So really wha'ts aging terribly?
