A nuclear accident
Vomits into the ocean
An island of garbage
Forged by the discarded
The constant trawling
Modifying habitats
What the fuck are we doing?
Biodiversity- now monoculture of deceased inhabitants
The nets don't discriminate - unforgiving in this throwaway living
As the coves exsanguinate the bodies, now gluttonous commodities
Purging more than they need - for the unwitting public and corporate greed
Paralyzed in fear, until all pods are eradicated...
They never stood a chance
Against this sick romance
We have with every living being
We have with every fucking thing
Long lining baited hooks, pelagic thievery, gluttonous crooks
Discarded secondary bycatch rendered useless, thrown overboard
Bottom trawling thus reveals the destroyed habitats - wiped off the map
The life support of the ecosystems is pulled leaving only victims
Living in misery - the ways of fisheries
One of life's mysteries - soon we'll all be history
Nobody's listening - classic conditioning
This is the christening - extinction quickening
We never stood a chance
Against this sick romance
We have with our demise
We have with all of life
With mouths open wide
Our footprint steps inside
And when there's nowhere to hide
Death comes with the tide....
The german part translates to "What we do for ourselves dies with us, what we do for other remains and is immortal"
Scott Pritchard it was written by Albert Pine
That's beautiful
For some more high quality death metal, I recommend the band: Alkaloid. They’re a supergroup made of members that used to be in bands like Necrophagist, Obscura, Spawn of Posession, Aborted, etc., so they’re more on the technical side of Death Metal.
Some songs that I’d suggest from them:
THE CARBON PHRASES- It’s 9 1/2 minutes and doesn’t have a video, but I still recommend it. It has a pretty catchy beat and awesome instrumentals.
FROM A HARDON MACHINIST - Another 9-minute song that doesn’t have a video, but this is one of the more intense songs on the album. It also has one of my favorite riffs in death metal.
CTHULHU - This song is 6 minutes and has a video. It’s one of the more sinister-sounding songs on the album and is also pretty catchy.
Yes!, thank you!
You should check put some Revocation! Amazing thrash/death metal band. Some songs to consider:
Madness Opus
Invidious
The Grip Tightens
Witch Trials
Communion
Scorched Earth Policy
Oh, that's what Golem has been doing since LOTR stopped filming. He joined a metal band.
Cattle live was amazing! I met everyone but Derek, had a beer with Dave, talked to Travis before the show started he was just out and about on the floor while the opening bands were setting up and he was talking and hanging out with fans. Josh is a super chill dude. I saw them during their CD release party for The Anthropocene extinction release in their home town of San Diego. Travis' lows live are more filthy less understandable, I think he does that to preserve until he gets to the points that are super guttural and his screams are top notch live. He is less consistent with his vocals live than on album and a lot of people condemn him for it, but he's still my favorite vocalist in metal and one of the best shows I've been to.
They are the best band ive seen live and ive been listening to them for over 10 years. They are the best. React to a live video
what I love most about Cattle Decap are their 'black metal'ish parts if you know what I mean
You must love the new album then
Dragon Mountain Fanboy Adore it
5:07 when a song hits you right in the feels
Where's Anaal Nathrakh? Songs you could react to would be Depravity Favours The Bold or Hold Your Children Close And Pray For Oblivion.

The correct answer would be 'needs more Anaal Nathrakh' ;)
Wow, that section toward the end is so haunting and beautiful.
Since you only get to listen to Cattle Decap when you get requests, let me suggest "Lifestalker" by them. There's no video, sadly, but it's an amazing song, maybe my favorite from them, would love to see your reaction. Hope you get to see them live!
I was waiting for this since your first reaction to cattle. Cattle is my favorite band and this is one of my favs from them. Their lyrics really hit me right in the feels about the current state of the world and humanity. Travis's highs are what originally hooked me into the band, their sheer intensity is perfect for the content of their message.
Yeah, their last 2 albums are truly breakout, every song - a piece of art. By the way, their earliest albums are, maybe, some banal, but not devoid of anger and heaviness. I highly recommend you to watch clip on their song "Regret & The Grave" from '09 "The Harvest Floor" album. And exactly in "The Harvest Floor" started to grow this unique style with melodic chourses
Wow!!! I missed this one. Holy shit! Tight as fuck. Awesome band.
Please react to Baphomet - Belphegor
Cattle Decapitation - A Living, Breathing Piece of Defecating Meat

How about a reaction to a not very famous, but great band Adagio ? I suggest Adagio - Underworld.
In Mourning - A Vow To Conquer The Ocean
Anathema - Dreaming Light
Soen - The Words
Dark Fortress - Wraith
Dreaming Light from the "Universal"-DVD... So beautiful, also "One Last Goodbye" and the "Untouchable"-Songs...
react to irepress - cyette phiur (official video)
I love how excited you are to hear this song lol I was too. I had the same reaction when that final verse hit. This is by far my favorite song by Cattle. Would you consider doing Shadow of Intent - The Prophet's Beconing
Shadow of Intent '-The Heretic Prevails and Barren and Breathless Macrocosm are my fav 🤘🏾👌🏾
Blue pills- devil man
You should check out Scour, it's Philip H Anselmo from Pantera, with dudes from Pig Destroyer, Cattle Decapitation
Howdy from Texas \m/ Cattle Decapitation is a great band. Recommended bands from here in Texas you might like.. Not asking for any reactions, just sharing some metal. Pissing Razors, Devourment, Images of Violence, Rigor Mortis, Disfigured, Flesh Hoarder, Deadhorse, Pasadena Napalm Division, Critical Assembly, and Blood For Master. Keep it metal man \m/
A Body Farm and Testicular Manslaughter are probably my favorite Cattle Decap songs. TM was my introduction to them and it's just nuts. ABF is sooo good but man seeing the music video and seeing him sweep pick across half the neck... Blows me away every time. Josh Elmore is my homie. And I like their lyrics and overarching theme.? Too much. Cattle Decap for the win
How come you fixed your teeth instead of your face? Please react to Edge of Sanity - Darkday. It'll set your face straight, man.
Saw them Life, Travis spit on the floor in front of me and repeatly touched my bolt shaved friends head while he was headbanging :-D just to be clear...i talk about my real friend Janik :-D
YYYYYYEEEEEESSSSSS
Infant Annihilator - Soil the Stillborn
You trying to get everyone to listen to Soil the Stillborn? Not that I have a problem with that but lol
Yeeeeeehhhh! Cattle Decapitation!!!
Oh yea... I meant to add... I see your a fan of Machine Head too. I also recommend Skinlab, they are from the same local as Machine Head. Almost like twin bands...
;~)
Great youtube channel
Respect from England
Ruben, you just have to test Howling Sycamore . Do descent to light if you want to have an easy entry. reminds a lot on opeth and leprous. ( in the bilateral phase)
If you can live with a difficult song listen to upended, that is my favourite.
Told ya :P
hey mate! Great track, seeing these guys live in a couple of weeks! You should check out Satyricon - Mother North.
Saw them live on Halloween in Toronto, amazing band live, Travis can still hit those high notes perfectly. They even played The Monolith which I wasn't expecting. If you haven't heard that song I highly recommend it, it's sort of an intro before the song Kingdom of Tyrants and it still makes the hair on my arms and neck stand up!
This also really reminds me of Mudvayne from the Lost and Found album, towards the end. That atmosphere is so good.
I just remembered what that ending section reminded me of on Mudvaynes Lost and Found album. The song "choices"
Hey man how about reaction of one of the best 2017 albums song - Executioner axe by Power Trip
If you dig these guys. Check out Finite from Origin.
Indorsia - twoface
Indorsia - mindfall 🤘
