I didn't test any other drones this year, but I agree that the Mini 4 Pro has been the best! I got mine in January and I made over 50 drone videos with it just in the last 11 months! It's compact and light, since I'm a one-bag guy. The image quality is phenomenal for making 4k 60fps HDR youtube videos. My favorite feature is cruise control, with 360 photos being a close second. Third is the omni-directional sensors, though I dislike that they don't work at night, when I most need them. Until the mini series gets the LiDAR from the Air3S, I likely won't be upgrading. Love this channel, btw!
I have the Neo and Avata 2. I'd grab the M4P if they sold it as "drone only" because I don't need more controllers. Might wait now until the M5P (rumored next summer I think) unless I can find the M4P without paying for its controller. Great choice for your top pick though!
Drone of the year for me is the Neo. I will explain why. I have the Mini 4 Pro and the Avata 1, recently the Neo as an added value. With the Mini 4 Pro you already have a beast in the house in filming objects on the outside, actually everything in it. The Avata when you enter a building, an abandoned building, through floors where the stairs are unreliable, you explore everything on the inside. But there was still something missing ... a drone that follows you on a narrow forest path, without the need for a controller, or you walk, cycle or fly a circle around you with your motorcycle on a break stop, you take it out of your bag, hold it in your hand and you do what it was made for! For me, the DJI Neo is the best innovation offer in 2024 for everyone, even those with a small budget!
Stop waiting don't know what tomorrow will even bring. Time passes and people wait and in the meantime you can be getting great footage and learning about the drone. ☺️
I've had all the Minis and the Mini 4 is by FAR the best drone I've ever owned. There's a rumor about a Mini 5 but I can't see how much better this drone can get. However, DJI continues to impress me.
Question about taking pics at dusk or at night. Do you just use the night video mode..and just click your shutter..or is there a better setting for taking night pictures??
I have the Maveric 3 Pro which I am selling because the RC pro controller has been orphaned and it uses old technology For client stuff. I use the air 3 but most of the time I use the 4 mini. Most of the stuff I do involves real estate and the less conspicuous, the drone the better The whole sensor size thing is over blown all that a sensor does is gather light. I can adjust the ISO and shutter. That’s all I need. Here in Texas we have way too much light lol
Can you suggest when can we expect mini pro 5 to come out I’m in dilemma whether to wait for mini pro 5 or buy 4, I’m eagerly waiting to buy a drone from past 3 months but don’t want this to happen that the moment I buy mini pro 4, 5 comes out Please suggest…
I barely even use mine it sits in shelf always. Mavic 3 Pro for me all day long. I do have a waiver to fly over people now with the FAA so my Mini 4 Pro will be my flying over people drone. 😂😁

My first drone was mini 4 pro. So much fun. I back pack parks with it and get the best photos on summits with it.

@@chris I wish they would not make the controllers obsolete. I have the old 3 pro / Mavic 3 that won’t work with the newer ones
I just got mine a week ago... I'm stunned by the capabilities of this little drone! Amazing footage, lots of fun!
It’s the best!
I have had the Mavic mini, mini two, mini three, and now the mini 4 pro. Mini 4 pro is fantastic.
You have the whole collection!
You can't go wrong with the DJI MIni 4 Pro, still the king of the Mini drones. Great video and thanks for sharing.
I flew the Mini 3 Pro half the year and then bought the AIR 3. The AIR 3 is my 7th DJI drone I've owned and by far the best one so far.
I love my M4P! I have the Neo just to have but Mini 4 is my main

The Air 3 or Air 3S for me, that 70mm is underrated.
Any thoughts on those NJ drone sightings?

It's rumoured to have the LiDAR sensing from the Air 3s
@@Fatfat6 Yeah I just read an article about that. MAYBE I'll consider upgrading if it comes out lol...

No idea when the 5 is coming out.
Will there be a Mini 5 Pro?

@ any guess as to possibly when?
My credit union gave me a loan in November so I could buy a Mavic 3 classic w/fly more before the ban 🤣

Yup. It’s a toss up. Because the air3s came do late in the year, I’ll see how I feel in 2025.
