I’m on the late show, but I love your videos. I came looking for one about thick scarves tonight. I’ve been wrapping for a couple of months and grabbed the exact thick scarf you used on my way out the door thinking I could wrap real quick in the car. I’d not used it before and I struggled with it all day at work. Lesson learned, practice is it’s a scarf, they are not all the same when you wrap!
I am new to wrapping. My initial struggle has been getting the scarf the right width for my neck. I don't know why I didn't consider starting at the neck and folding in from the forehead. This is very inspirational. Thank you for sharing. Today is my first day to wear my wrap in public. It's cold. I decided on a thicker pashmina. It is just as you stated. It required patience and reminding the scarf who is the boss. Again thanks for sharing.
Right! I never knot in the back unless I have too - I pretty much ONLY every criss-cross. I find I am guaranteed to get pulling or a headache with a knot.
Great tutorial, lots of good info. May I suggest that going forward you don't continually mention what a bad job you've done n you are ok with the wraps being messy cause it's just a tutorial. You don't need to plant that seed. Most of us don't have your experience and the final wrap looks great to us. I understand you are trying to do this quickly but don't try to convince us that you are ok with a sloppy tutorial. Again, I thought each of them turned out lovely and you have us so much info as well as encouragement that practice makes perfect. You did a great job! Thank you and G-d bless you.
I'm waiting for a proper light and then I am totally planning on doing some makeup tutorials! I have hooded eyes, so it is always a bit of a challenge to replicate eye looks from other TH-camrs. I am sure there are many ladies with similar issues that I hope I can help :)
Thank you :D I am glad you enjoyed. I feel like humming the jeopardy song when I'm idle (the pitfalls of being a talker that doesn't like silence) but I also totally feel you - I don't like tutorial videos when there is music behind the person talking.
Wonderful video! This is great advice and information! 👏 For keeping cool though, I personally like my stellar jersey scarves with tails down. It is a little too hot for me with both up in many cases but pleasant with one tail left down. But I do live in a warmer climate and I do have a medical condition that causes me to overheat easily so that is a big factor for me. I also love jersey scarves to wear in a draping style because they drape so beautifully and the fabric grips to my hair without a headband or shaper in that style, again, cooler for me. I definitely agree with you that they are perfect for turbans! I loved that thick scarf with so much volume on top on you! Very majestic! 😊. So what do you think about the shimmery scarves? How thick would you say those are and are they more for layering or can they be worn alone?
I love the stellar scarfs, I haven't been able to snap one up yet but I LOVE the sparkle in them compared to the usually jersey. I live in all of the cold, so I'm the opposite - I usually don't get to use my thin scarves very often and opt for thicker ones (hence the obsession with pashminas). The Shimmery is a good question because it is thin enough to layer but you can wear it alone. I usually wear it with another one if I'm going to do a tails down and I'll wear it on it's own when I do tails up. It's sort of an in-between because of the texture. I think I will include it in my texture video :)
Great video. I had enormous problems with my Wendy. My nightmare scarf is Wrapunzel's Belle of the Ball. Any advice you can give about what to do with that gorgeous sequinned nightmare would be gratefully accepted.
The Wendy took me a while to get used too as well, I feel you there. It is one of my most worn shapers now but I wear it usually with pashminas and not when I am going to layer things. I usually have mine about half stuffed as well, because I don't like the huge poof. I actually did a tutorial for the Belle a while back using a 2in1 to keep it in place, I've been meaning to re film it for my channel so I will move it up the list!
I found your video on how to wrap with hair showing. I used both the headband and the shaper and it stayed pretty well all day. Thanks for that as well.
Hrm, that would indeed be tricky. I haven't done much with half wraps, I think you would still need a velvet headband and then almost tie it in a turban with your hair out. I will do some playing around and see if I can't figure out a video for you!

First of all: You're so beautiful! Second: I love your videos because you pack them with tons of detailed and helpful information for us newbies.
Your videos are great. They are educational. Please make more.
They all look great. Thanks for all the info.
Thanks for demonstrating that we do not necessarily have to tie a knot in back, we can just cross-cross

Love your eyes. Great video
Thanks, nice video.
Totally off subject, do you have a video on how to apply eye make-up? I love your eyeliner combination. 👀

Love your video. What type of bird do you have ? I have a Green Cheek Conure
How do you get everything to stay in place while still showing some hair in the front?
Luckily I've done a video about just that! th-cam.com/video/gAQ8E1btUoI/w-d-xo.html Hope this helps :)
great video! [and no, you really don't need any interim music! :)

Yay! I am glad you enjoyed. That one in particular seems to be very helpful for people, which makes me happy.
Have you added stuffing into your Wendy Shaper ?
How would you place it on your head with your hair worn down ?
