There are some people who blame only Jade for their relationship being toxic, when Beck was just as bad. Yeah, he never nitpick at everything and scream at Jade whenever he was upset but he would allow girls to flirt with him while never mentioning he had a girlfriend. It almost seemed liked he deliberately tried to upset her every time a girl flirted with him.
As a man I blame brck for all of this. Yeah, jade is very jelous and they often fight with each other, but beck is the one who made her insecure in the first place. He never gave her feeling of being loved because he always was flirting with other woman

Honestly every relationship has their issues there's just a difference between having issues but still genuinely caring for each other and having issues where either both on one person isn't genuinely caring about the other one which is then referred to as a toxic relationship.
They definitely loved and cared for each other, it was just they were such opposites which led to a lot of fiery fights. Relationships like this are hard to keep and are more likely to end in painful breakups. It's pretty rare to see them last but when they do it means they've gone through probably double the amount of difficulties that a compatible couple does, and that's what will make it one of the deepest, most beautiful and special relationships. I actually really like them together and it was refreshing to see a non standard couple, of course I would've loved to see more of a development from their relationship but to cover all of that they show would have to turn into 'jade&beck'
Me and my best friend rn are also like polar opposites, we had SOO many fights at one point it was every single week throughout a whole year, it got so bad that we almost gave up on the friendship and completely cut off contact for more than half a year...but just like them after a while we kinda started missing each other and reunited. That doesn't mean from then on everything was rainbows and sparkles, we still had and have a lot of fight but the distance teached us an important lesson, which is how much we actually cared for each other, enough to put up with our differences and work through this friendship and it has since grown into a very deep and special one that I will always keep in my heart
I think this relationship is realistic bug just rare and hard to believe in which is why a lot of people immediately dismiss it as toxic
I was going through the same thing with my online friend, we still tend to fight sometimes but we are trying hard to get back to how thing were before.

The first episode was all about her getting back on what Jade's did to her at her first day at HA but afterward she is friend with Jade and she is really restraining herself to do something to hurt Jade.
About cat's boyfriend it was happened to be her ex she also said that she might kissed the guy because she wasn't over him and it was a first time she felt jealous like that even before they are in relationship and she felt bad what she did the bad thing is the damage had been done cat got mad and literally punch her 😂 but at the end the both of them become a friends again.

Not really, I'm watching the series again and yes, in the first chapter it's the opposite, but Jade and Tori weren't even friends. But Tori really respected their relationship, and although she could be physically attracted to Beck (like when they fight to see who has more followers) she did nothing, apart from Tori saying in a chapter that the worst thing she did in life was kiss the Cat's boyfriend, so I think that marked her so much that she would not do it again. And also, in part, because she's afraid of Jade

@@nykkie5547 now that you say that, it happens in real relationships, I get easily jealous because girls like my boyfriend and a lot of his female friends were interested in him at some point and then there's me, who shows no interest in much males other than him so he really has no reason to be jealous but definitely healthy. I do think beck is either very oblivious or likes to see jade get riled up and jealous.

Their relationship, at the beginning, was evidently extremely toxic. I feel that they both had to learn and grow on their own, and by the last season (pretty sure it was the last season) when they got back together, it was much better for them.
Also: Jade's development throughout the show was incredible, and I really loved how the song she sang ("You Don't Know Me") really expressed her character. She had a lot of depth for a Nick tv show, & Liz Gillies portrayed that phenomenally❤
